This position represents the company by promoting a strong culture of safety, delivering a positive customer experience, and building long-term customer relationships.\nThe Safe and The Proud!\nFlatbed and dry van drivers are welcome to apply.\nWhy Drivers Like This Role:\nHome Daily - Overnight deliveries are rare\nEvery Sunday Off - Consistent time at home\nSaturday Pay Opportunities available for additional earnings\n$15 Daily Lunch Per Diem\nStrong Benefits Package (100% Employer Paid by Polytec):\nHealth Insurance\nDental Insurance\nVision Insurance\nLife Insurance\nDisability Insurance\nRetirement:\n 401(k) with 3% Employer Contribution\nWhat You Need to Be Successful\nMinimum three (3) years of tractor experience\nMust have a clean MVR and safety record\nMust have a positive attitude and good work ethic\nMinimum one (1) year of tanker experience, preferred\nMust have a valid commercial Driver's License, CDL Class A, to operate both automatic and manual transmissions\nTanker and HAZMAT endorsements are preferred\nBe physically qualified to drive a motor vehicle and provide a valid medical card\nBe able to provide proof of experience or training to safely operate the type of motor vehicle used by Polytec/Chemtrade.\nMust possess excellent customer service skills, verbal and written communication skills.\nMust be a self-starter with the ability to work with a minimum of supervision, be highly motivated, energetic, and enjoy working as part of a team.\nAbility to work a flexible and changeable schedule.\nPrevious electronic logging device (ELD) experience required.\nResponsibilities\n· Maintain accurate Hours of Service (HOS) records in compliance with DOT regulations\n· Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of all assigned equipment\n· Comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as customer, federal, state, and local laws and regulations.\n· Safely load, transport, and unload chemicals, including bulk liquid and hazardous materials\n· Transfer and unload chemicals into customer tanks while ensuring safety, accuracy, and compliance.\n· Accurately complete all required documentation, including bills of lading, certificates of analysis, shipping paperwork, and expense reports.\n· Assist with accident, incident, and near-miss investigations as required.\n· Maintain safety, quality, and ISO documentation in accordance with company standards\n· Maintain the cleanliness of vehicles, equipment, and plant facilities.\n· Clean and prepare tanker trailers during chemical changeovers in accordance with established guidelines.\n· Represent the company in a professional, ethical manner aligned with the company’s mission, values, and safety culture.\n· Coordinate truck and trailer maintenance as required.\n· Fuel truck as required.\n· Strictly follow all safety procedures and protocols.\n· Support team members as needed.\n· Other duties as assigned.\nWhat Polytec Offers You\nPolytec Inc's mission is to provide effective water treatment programs to customers through quality service, products, and technology.
