This position is responsible for protecting personnel, property, facilities, and assets through access control, patrol operations, inspections, and compliance with security regulations and procedures.\nThe ideal candidate is a disciplined security professional with strong observational skills, sound judgment, and a commitment to mission success. This role offers the opportunity to support critical government operations while maintaining a safe and secure environment through force protection and physical security measures. \nResponsibilities\nInteract professionally with government personnel, visitors, contractors, and the public. \nEscort authorized personnel and visitors as required. \nPerform access control, traffic control, and armed security functions. \nConduct walking and motorized patrols of assigned areas. \nEnforce security regulations, post orders, and standard operating procedures. \nProtect government personnel, facilities, property, equipment, and resources. \nConduct personnel, vehicle, building, and facility inspections. \nMonitor assigned areas for suspicious activity, security risks, and unauthorized access. \nMaintain assigned uniforms, equipment, and security gear in proper condition. \nComplete reports, logs, and required documentation accurately and timely. \nSupport emergency response and incident management activities. \nWork flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, as required. \nPerform other duties as assigned. \nQualifications\nMust be a United States Citizen. \nHigh School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. \nMust successfully pass a comprehensive background investigation. \nMust possess and maintain an active Secret security clearance. \nMust be available to work all shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.\nAbility to speak, read, comprehend, and prepare clear verbal and written reports in English. \nMust possess a valid Social Security Card issued by the Social Security Administration. \nShall not be in violation of the Lautenberg Amendment at 18 U.S.C. § 922. \nMust be at least 21 years of age. \nMust possess and maintain a valid driver's license. \nMinimum of two (2) years of experience with a civilian police agency, military police organization, security force, or related security organization. \nMust successfully pass required drug testing and medical evaluation requirements. \nMust successfully meet Physical Agility Test (PAT) standards, including a 1.5-mile run completed within 17:30 and 19 push-ups completed within two minutes. \nMust successfully complete and pass the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI). \nMust successfully complete the company-provided 160-hour NSGTC training course and qualify with both pistol and rifle.
