This position is ideal for individuals with security, military, law enforcement, or public safety experience who are committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment while providing exceptional customer service.\nResponsibilities\nProtect government facilities, personnel, equipment, and assets through vigilant security monitoring and enforcement. \nConduct armed foot patrols and security inspections throughout assigned areas. \nMaintain a strong security presence while deterring unauthorized activity and security violations. \nRespond appropriately to alarms, suspicious activity, security incidents, and emergency situations. \nSupport emergency response efforts and assist with incident management activities as required. \nVerify identification and control access to secured government facilities. \nScreen employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors in accordance with established security procedures. \nConduct inspections of personnel, packages, parcels, and vehicles entering or departing designated areas. \nProvide professional assistance and directions to visitors and employees while maintaining security requirements. \nPerform routine security checks of buildings, grounds, and operational areas. \nIdentify and report safety concerns, maintenance issues, suspicious activity, or security vulnerabilities. \nMaintain awareness of facility conditions and immediately report unusual situations. \nAssist with traffic control and access management when required. \nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or GED. \nMust be at least 21 years of age. \nMinimum of two (2) years of security, military, law enforcement, public safety, or related experience. \nAbility to successfully pass a Personal Security Background Investigation and NCIC check. \nAbility to complete all required training, certifications, and licensing requirements. \nStrong verbal and written communication skills in English. \nAbility to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime when needed.\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional, service-oriented approach.\nSound judgment and the ability to remain calm and effective during emergencies and high-pressure situations.\nProficiency with computers, report writing, and following security procedures and operational instructions.\n\nEstimated Salary/Wage\n Up to USD
