Join our team of professionals who support large-scale government operations by leveraging cutting-edge technology and take your career to the next level!\nAs one of the newest Chenega companies, Chenega Defense & Aerospace Solutions (CDAS) was developed with the purpose of providing expert Engineering and Technical Support Services to federal customers.\nThe Associate Technical Training Designer & Instructor supports the senior Training Technical Designer & Instructor by assisting with the design, development, editing, and maintenance of training content, as well as the preparation and delivery of virtual and in-person training, including moderating, presenting, and facilitating. Conducts in-depth research and conducts SME interviews to develop training content. The Associate Technical Training Designer & Instructor additionally maintains the training SharePoint repository, and performs supplementary administrative functions surrounding the training sessions.\nResponsibilities\nAssist in composing, adapting, producing, and editing new procedural and training documentation, including user guides, training manuals, job aids, videos/presentations, and other similar media\nReview and edit existing materials\nSupport the implementation of training solutions established for a given requirement, considering the subject matter, project requirements, location, class size, and other variables\nConduct subject matter and policy research, interviews, and reviews case studies of documented training gaps to assist in developing training solutions\nAssist with preparation and delivery of training\nAssist with surveys and analysis, and support the scheduling and administration of training workshops, webinars, and MS Teams presentations as directed\nServe as moderator, presenter, or facilitator for in-person, webinar, and virtual training sessions, and may occasionally travel to CONUS or OCONUS locations to support the administration of training\nAdminister and maintain the DPM SharePoint training repository and materials\nThis role requires flexibility in work hours to accommodate training across multiple international time zones\nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED equivalent\n2+ years’ experience developing training and instructional materials and providing instructor-led training.\n2+ years of experience with MS Office suiteExperience in creating graphic materials such as posters, job aids, diagrams, and instructional guides with images and graphics.\nExperience in presenting training / presentations to a group, both in-person and virtually\nExperience in conducting online research to gain knowledge or resolve technical issues\n\nSecret clearance\nSuccessfully pass background and drug screening\nPreferred Qualifications:\nKnowledge of Diplomatic Pouch and Mail operations/workflows.\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nProficient in designing and producing media / materials using graphic elements and software\nProficient in creating high quality presentations and slide shows\nProficient with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and PDF applications\nProficient in public speaking\nAble to proactively self-direct, triage tasks, problem solve, and work independently\nStrong knowledge of MS PowerPoint\nStrong knowledge of MS Teams \nWorking knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud\nWorking knowledge of MS SharePoint\nAbility to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing\nHow you’ll grow\nAt Chenega MIOS, our professional development plan focuses on helping our team members at every level of their careers to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
