leadership and expertise in business analysis, requirements management, business process improvement, data analysis, workflow optimization, and stakeholder engagement activities supporting the National Park Service.\nThis position works closely with Government stakeholders, technical teams, and business users to identify opportunities for process improvement, gather and document requirements, support software enhancement initiatives, and help ensure technology solutions align with mission needs and operational objectives.\nThe Senior Business Analyst serves as a key advisor to project teams by translating business needs into actionable requirements and supporting successful planning, implementation, and continuous improvement efforts.\nResponsibilities\nLead business analysis activities supporting sustainment, enhancement, modernization, and continuous improvement of enterprise business applications and operational processes.\nFacilitate requirements gathering sessions, stakeholder interviews, workshops, and working groups to identify business needs and operational objectives.\nAnalyze existing business processes, workflows, reporting capabilities, and operational procedures to identify opportunities for improvement and increased efficiency.\nDevelop and maintain business requirements, functional requirements, user stories, process flows, use cases, and acceptance criteria.\nCollaborate with technical teams to ensure business requirements are clearly understood and successfully implemented.\nTranslate complex business needs into clear, concise, and actionable documentation.\nSupport application enhancement initiatives by evaluating operational impacts, business value, and implementation considerations.\nAnalyze data, reporting requirements, and performance metrics to support operational decision-making and business improvement efforts.\nSupport testing, validation, implementation, and deployment activities to ensure delivered solutions meet user expectations and business requirements.\nDevelop and maintain process documentation, user guides, training materials, workflow diagrams, and other project artifacts.\nFacilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.\nIdentify risks, dependencies, assumptions, and operational impacts associated with proposed changes.\nSupport change management and user adoption efforts by helping stakeholders understand and successfully utilize implemented solutions.\nProvide leadership and mentoring to junior analysts and project team members.\nPrepare reports, briefings, presentations, and status updates for project leadership and customer stakeholders.\nSupport continuous improvement efforts across business processes, reporting capabilities, and operational workflows.\nEnsure compliance with applicable organizational, contractual, and Government requirements.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED equivalent.\n7+ years of experience providing business analysis, consulting, process improvement, or operational analysis support.Experience gathering, documenting, validating, and managing business and functional requirements.\nExperience leading stakeholder engagement activities and facilitating requirements discussions.\nExperience supporting software implementation, enhancement, modernization, or operational support initiatives.\nExperience developing process maps, workflow diagrams, user stories, use cases, and business requirements documentation.\n\nAbility to successfully pass required background and drug screening\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Information Technology, Public Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.\nExperience supporting Federal civilian agencies.\nExperience supporting the National Park Service or Department of the Interior.\nExperience with process improvement, workflow automation, reporting, business intelligence, or data analytics initiatives.\nExperience working within Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project environments.\nBusiness Analysis certification such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or equivalent.\nExperience supporting digital transformation, application modernization, or organizational improvement efforts.\nExperience facilitating executive-level stakeholder engagements and business process workshops.\n\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nKnowledge of SDLC methodologies and project delivery frameworks.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong understanding of business process analysis, workflow documentation, and process improvement methodologies.\nAdvanced business analysis and requirements management skills.\nStrong facilitation and stakeholder engagement abilities.\nAbility to analyze complex business processes and identify practical improvement opportunities.\nAbility to translate business objectives into actionable requirements and project deliverables.\nStrong written communication and technical documentation skills.\nAbility to communicate effectively with executives, business stakeholders, technical personnel, and customer representatives.\nStrong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.\nWorking knowledge of software development and system lifecycle concepts.\nAbility to organize and prioritize multiple assignments in a dynamic environment.\nAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively across distributed teams.\nStrong presentation and briefing skills.\nAbility to develop trusted relationships with customer
