This role is responsible for sustaining, analyzing, and optimizing sensor system performance to ensure mission readiness, improve detection and tracking capabilities, and support evolving operational requirements. The ideal candidate brings deep experience with advanced sensor technologies, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across government and industry teams.\nThis is a temporary full-time role with an anticipated assignment duration of nine (9) months, subject to extension, reduction, or modification based on business needs.\nResponsibilities\nMonitor and evaluate the performance of C-UAS sensor systems to ensure operational effectiveness and compliance with quality assurance standards.\nAnalyze system data and performance metrics to identify trends, improve detection capabilities, and maintain optimal system readiness.\nCoordinate with equipment manufacturers and government to cyber harden systems to maximize system availability\nCoordinate with equipment manufacturers and government to integrate sensor systems and effectors in common operational picture and command and control system\nCoordinate with equipment manufacturers and government to field new technology and implement system modernization initiatives\nAssess sensor performance and develop recommendations to reduce false alarms while enhancing detection accuracy and reliability.\nMaintain, update, and manage system performance databases and related analytical records.\nPrepare and present technical reports, findings, and recommendations to government stakeholders and program leadership.\nSupport technology assessments of current and emerging sensor capabilities to inform future operational requirements.\nCoordinate with government, engineering, and operational teams to address technical issues and implement system improvements.\nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.\nMinimum of 15 years of experience evaluating, assessing, and supporting current and emerging sensor technologies.\nMinimum of 10 years of experience with C-sUAS detection and mitigation systems.\nProven ability to analyze complex technical data and develop actionable recommendations.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical information to diverse audiences.\nDemonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.\nAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team\nSuccessfully pass background and drug screening\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMaster's degree in Engineering or a related technical field. \nExperience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) programs, operations, or customers. \nFamiliarity with technology sustainment, system lifecycle management, and operational readiness assessments.\n\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and related business applications. \nStrong technical writing, briefing, and communication skills. \nAbility to manage installation, maintenance, and sustainment activities while meeting project schedules and performance requirements. \nExperience troubleshooting and resolving issues associated with complex sensor, detection, or electronic security systems. \nAbility to collaborate effectively within integrated government and contractor teams. \nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic operational environment. \nUnderstanding of quality assurance processes, performance monitoring, and data-driven decision-making.\nEstimated Salary/Wage\nUSD
