The individual will support the Missile Defense Agency on the TEAMS Next Missile Defense Systems Engineering contract.\nWork Location: \nThis position is full-time onsite at Redstone Arsenal, AL, with the possibility of telework in the future. \nResponsibilities\nAssess new technologies for C2BMC/ BOA. Work closely with C2BMC and BOA Advanced Development Government Team Lead, other Advance Development team members, and FFRDCs in assessing and developing technologies, and formulating strategies to transition C2BMC/BOA technologies to enable more efficient and effective MDS capabilities.\nCoordinate actions with MDA stakeholders, external laboratories, FFRDCs, and UARCs to integrate promising technologies into the MDS. Identify and coordinate transition plans to migrate proven capabilities into applicable C2BMC/BOA Future Spirals. Perform analysis and trade studies; identify risks; formulate requirements for C2BMC/BOA Advanced Development.\nAssist program manager in all acquisition actions to get contractors on contract, coordinate to obtain all required Government Furnished Equipment and Information, and assess overall contractor performance.\nDemonstrate experience writing or reviewing technical proposals. Know software acquisition strategies, best practices, and lessons learned from software development efforts for major weapon system procurements within DoW. \nPerform other duties as assigned\nQualifications\nRequired:\nActive Secret clearance\n7+ years of experience required\nBachelor’s Degree required\nSuccessfully pass background and drug screening\nPreferred Qualifications:\n Self-starter with enthusiasm and capacity to learn in a fast-paced environment\n Ability to assess maturity of software code and overall Technology Readiness Levels.\n Familiarity with exploitation of artificial intelligence, modeling and simulation tools, and knowledge of verification/validation/accreditation procedures.
