This individual will work as part of the Missile Defense Deployment and Sustainment Operations Contract and will ensure safe transportation for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Director and other leaders who visit Redstone Arsenal. Must be able to attain a courier card to deliver or pick up sensitive packages for executives. The Dispatcher/Support Driver will support all visiting Senior Executive Staff members (SES) who are on TDY to Redstone Arsenal from other locations.\nResponsibilities\nTransport passengers over specified and unspecified routes\nMaintain and report detailed records of vehicle utilization, fuel utilization, and sustainment actions\nExperience interacting with executive-level leaders in a professional manner\nExperience applying policies and procedures to dispatch vehicles\nDemonstrates an understanding of scheduling/planning transportation services to meet obligations\nMaintain a valid driver’s license for each applicable location\nMaintain current training in defensive driving techniques, driving safety standards, and basic first aid\nPerform other duties as assigned\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED equivalent\n5+ years of relevant experience\nA valid driver’s license is required.\nInterim Secret clearance is required on day one and must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance over the life of the contract\nSuccessfully pass background and drug screening.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nAbility to greet passengers professionally.\nAbility to maintain a driver’s license. \nPhysically fit with full use of arms, legs, and back.\nAbility to obtain and maintain required training and certifications.\nAbility to use computers to search for and generate information using Microsoft Office.\nAbility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.\nHow you’ll grow\nAt Chenega MIOS, our professional development plan focuses on helping our team members at every level of their careers to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
