This role is ideal for a skilled technician who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and working with access control, intrusion detection, CCTV, communications, and fiber optic systems in mission-critical environments. \nYou'll play a key role in keeping security systems operational, reliable, and compliant while working alongside a talented team of security technology professionals. \nResponsibilities\nInstall, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot electronic security systems, including: \nAccess Control Systems (PACS) \nIntrusion Detection Systems (IDS) \nCCTV and Video Recording Systems \nIntercom and Public Address Systems \nFiber Optic Communication Networks \nAsset Tracking Systems \nDiagnose and resolve system, network, and equipment issues using industry-standard testing and diagnostic tools. \nRead and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings. \nInstall, terminate, and test copper and fiber optic cabling. \nRepair and maintain security devices, field equipment, and supporting infrastructure. \nPerform system testing, commissioning, and verification to ensure proper operation. \nCoordinate with customers, contractors, and other trades to support project requirements. \nMaintain accurate documentation and comply with all company, customer, and safety standards. \nOther duties as assigned \nQualifications\nOne of the following: \n8+ years of non-residential electronic security installation and troubleshooting experience; or \n6+ years of experience plus completion of a U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, or accredited electronics apprenticeship program; or \n4+ years of experience with an Associate's degree in Electronics; or \n2+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in Electronics. \nLENEL OnGuard 7.3 Access Control Certification required. \nMinimum of two active OEM certifications, such as: \nCEIA \nSmiths Detection \nMorpho Detection \nPanasonic CCTV \nPathminder \nDelta/Koei Vehicle Barrier \nEquivalent industry-recognized certifications \nOSHA 10 certification required. \nAbility to meet all customer and site access requirements. \nSuccessfully pass background and drug screening\nPreferred Qualifications:\nOSHA 30 certification. \nExperience supporting federal, critical infrastructure, or high-security environments. \nAdvanced experience with IP-based security systems and networked security devices. \n Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nStrong understanding of access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and integrated security systems. \nKnowledge of electrical and low-voltage installation practices. \nProficiency with test equipment, including TDRs and OTDRs. \nAbility to independently troubleshoot complex technical issues. \nStrong communication and customer service skills. \nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications. \nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. \nPhysical Demands: (The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
