Certification in MDI Required.\nResponsibilities\nReading and interpreting building plans (blueprints)\nUse, repair, and/or calibration of electronic test equipment - meters, oscilloscopes\nLow voltage DC electronic systems / electromechanical systems\nBench repair of electronic, electrical, and electromechanical equipment to the component level\nAC power distribution systems, motor-generators\nMotors, motor controls, disconnects, relays.\nHeating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems\nMechanical and electromechanical locking systems - electronic strikes, locks\nPedestrian and vehicular access control systems - door controls, vehicle barriers/arrest\nClosed-circuit television systems (CCTV) systems - monitors, cameras, switchers\nMetal detectors - handheld, walk through.\nRadio communications systems, voice, and digital communications networks\nIntrusion Detection Systems - alarms, detectors, sensors\nPublic Address Systems - emergency notification systems, intercom.\nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications\nAt least six years’ experience in non-residential electronics installation & troubleshooting is required with a high school degree; OR\nAt least three years’ experience with an AA/AS in Electronics from an accredited program; OR\nAt least two years’ experience with a BS/BA in Electronics from an accredited program.\nSuccessfully pass background and drug screening\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nElectronics Fundamentals: Comprehensive understanding of basic and advanced electronic circuits, systems, and troubleshooting techniques.\nSecurity Systems: Extensive knowledge of various types of security systems including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and fire alarm systems.\nPhysical Demands: (The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
