government personnel, facilities, equipment, and property from theft, damage, unauthorized access, and other security threats.\nMaintain a visible security presence through foot and vehicle patrols of assigned areas.\nMonitor facilities and surrounding areas for suspicious activity, safety hazards, and security violations.\nRespond to alarms, emergencies, incidents, and requests for assistance in accordance with established procedures.\nObserve, document, and report incidents, unusual activity, and security concerns to supervisory personnel.\nControl access to government facilities by verifying credentials, badges, and authorization documentation.\nProcess visitors, contractors, and vendors in accordance with established security procedures.\nConduct personnel, vehicle, package, parcel, and facility inspections when required.\nSupport internal and perimeter security operations while maintaining a professional customer-focused approach.\nProvide visitor assistance, directions, and escorts when appropriate.\nRespond to security incidents, emergencies, medical situations, and unusual events as directed by post orders and site procedures.\nTake appropriate action during incidents to protect life, property, and critical assets.\nUtilize sound judgment when assessing potential threats and security concerns.\nSupport emergency evacuation procedures and incident response activities.\nCarry and maintain issued firearms and security equipment in accordance with company policies, training standards, and applicable regulations.\nDemonstrate proficiency with assigned weapons and successfully complete all required qualifications.\nExercise the use of force only in accordance with applicable laws, contract requirements, training, and established policies.\nMaintain accountability and proper care of all assigned weapons, ammunition, and security equipment.\nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent.\nMust be at least 21 years of age.\nAbility to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to interpret policies, procedures, post orders, and training materials.\nGraduate of a Federal, State, Local, Military, or recognized law enforcement, security, or physical security training academy.\nAbility to successfully complete all required firearms qualifications and maintain weapons proficiency.\nSuccessfully pass background and drug screening\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPrior military, law enforcement, corrections, protective services, or armed security experience.\nExperience supporting federal, government, critical infrastructure, healthcare, or high-security environments.\nFamiliarity with physical security systems, access control systems, alarm systems, and incident response procedures.\n\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nStrong observation, situational awareness, and threat recognition skills.\nAbility to remain calm, confident, and professional during stressful or emergency situations.\nSound judgment and decision-making abilities.\nStrong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.\nAbility to work independently while maintaining effective communication with supervisors and team members.\nAbility to follow detailed instructions, policies, and security procedures.\nEffective written communication skills and ability to prepare professional reports.\nBasic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications and electronic reporting systems.\nAbility to analyze information, identify issues, and respond appropriately within established guidelines.\nCommitment to professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct.\nEstimated Salary/Wage\nUSD
