Formed in 2017 to serve federal and commercial customers, CABS is 8(a) certified and has grown quickly into a leader in the federal IT and Training environment.\nThe Mid-Level AV-VTC Engineer (Programmer) shall develop and maintain existing AV capabilities within the client’s headquarters and outlying subordinate sites and ensure the AV Engineering Team has the tools necessary to successfully execute the mission of the customer.\nResponsibilities\nProvide advanced operational programming maintenance and support for all Audio Video systems. \nProvide direct support for VTC capabilities, work on new Ui designs and integration with multiple Chenega AV Engineering teams who are building new spaces, performing upgrades and patches, and assist with customer training. \nUtilize advanced Crestron programing skills to manage, operate, and maintain a large array of AV equipment and AV suites. \nPerform touch panel design and configuration, read, and interpret electronic schematics to troubleshoot, and repair systems. \nPerform AV programming tasks in a timely and quality-conscious manner.\nManage customer needs and schedules along with prioritization of work across a broad enterprise of AV systems with varying levels of usage and dependencies.\nPerform touch panel design and configuration, read, and interpret electronic schematics to troubleshoot, and debug systems. \nAssist with customer training and knowledge/use transfer within a diverse customer base in a sensitive and mission-critical work environment. \nWork as a key member of a team to assist with troubleshooting and solutioning to ensure high-visibility systems remain available and fully functional.\nUse advanced knowledge of AV, control signal flow, and test equipment to troubleshoot systems.\nRemain current within the industry, trends, and emerging technologies. \nComplete annual company and customer training requirements according to established policies and procedures.\nRecord labor hours daily in an online corporate system.\nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications\nBA/BS in the information technology field OR \nHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent with an additional 4+ years of experience can be substituted for a degree\n10+ years’ experience in the field of AV Programming, Engineering and Maintenance. \nMust have senior experience of knowledge configuring, maintaining, and sustaining Extron, Crestron, AMX, and Cisco UC/VTC technologies Advanced level of AV, control signal flow, and test equipment to troubleshoot systems. \nAV design and integration team.\nCOMPTIA Security+ certification or ability to obtain with 90 days of hire. \nAdvanced-level Crestron programming experience *Preferred - (Crestron Master Certification) Certification, knowledge, or experience on AMX, or Extron control systems \nMust be a U.S. citizen \nTop Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required \nSuccessfully pass background and drug screening \nPreferred Qualifications:\n10+ years’ experience in the field of AV Programming, Engineering and Maintenance.\n\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nStrong time management skills.\nExperience working as a key member of an AV design and integration team\nAbility to apply Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) requirements on UC technologies.\nStrong networking skills and understanding of AV-Over-lp (NXV, NAX, Dante and AES67\nAbility to multi-task across a portfolio of AV projects and initiatives\nEffective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills\nKnowledge of 2D CAD drawing development (Visio, AutoCAD, or equivalent\nExperience communicating directly with the customers, vendors, and service providers to foster strong relationships and a positive and collaborative environment.\nAbility to travel globally to customer sites as needed. \nUnderstanding of Department of Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) TTPs, Defense (DOD) and DISA VTC requirements.\nMust be able to resolve basic and advanced troubleshooting on Cisco UC technologies.\nKnowledge of AV/VTC sessions, call managers, scheduling, and AV/VTC services with outside agencies for executive-level users.\nAbility to perform duties in the DoD classified and unclassified environments, including the use of KIV-7 encryptions keys for ISDN/IP classified connectivity.\nExperience with IEEE 802.3 Ethernet, TCP/IP, QoS, ISDN, Firewall Traversal, SIP, H.323, relevant video standards, and DoD Video Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) processes, and familiarity with and ability to comply with the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) operational \nWorking knowledge of SIP, ISM, H232, H320, H460, TLS, RTP, SRTP, TCP/IP and UDP, content control protocols, video compression standards, packet analyzers, routing protocols and networking fundamentals, Tandberg, Polycom, and Cisco video and voice technologies.\nFull working knowledge of commercial construction methods, like ceiling deck constructions, wall framing, structural engineering, electrical wiring, and cable/fiber installation.\nFamiliar with AR 25-1 and DoD PAM 25-91.\nExperience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager/Cisco Meeting Serve Technologies Operations and Maintenance.\nExperience with multi-security classified and unclassified IP video teleconferencing/presentations.\nSenior experience with networking, LAN/WAN, and Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) cabling standards.\nProficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.\nKnowledge of TCP/IP network routing and switching.\nExperience with any of the following programming languages: C+, C++ or C#, Visual Basic, or HTML.\nExperience with the industry’s audio Digital Signal Processors (DSPs).\nKnowledge of wireless technologies.\nExperience with DITSCAP/8500.2 IA controls desired.\nUnderstanding of PKI \nAbility to attend all customer in-person meetings and conferences as requested.\nAbility to communicate with others effectively both orally and in writing.\nAbility to multi-task in a high-stress, performance-based environment.\nAbility to establish priorities and meet established deadlines.\nMaintain a high level of integrity and accountability.\nPossess strong problem solving and leadership skills.\nAbility to travel CONUS and/or OCONUS up to 15% as required. \nHow you’ll grow\nAt Chenega MIOS, our professional development plan focuses on helping our team members at every level of their careers to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
