We actively strive to channel our highly engaged employee’s knowledge, critical thinking, and innovative solutions for our clients.\nResponsibilities\nConfigure, administer, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise LAN, WAN, and VPN infrastructure supporting federal government customers.\nSupport routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls, SSL appliances, and remote access technologies.\nMaintain site-to-site and client VPN connectivity while ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and availability.\nAnalyze network performance, diagnose connectivity issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.\nSupport network security initiatives including firewall administration, intrusion detection, vulnerability remediation, and audit support.\nMonitor network infrastructure utilizing enterprise monitoring and performance management tools.\nAssist with implementation of network upgrades, technology refreshes, hardware replacements, and architectural enhancements.\nCreate and maintain network diagrams, operating procedures, configuration documentation, and technical reports.\nSupport incident, problem, and change management processes using ITIL best practices and ticketing systems.\nCoordinate with telecommunications providers, vendors, and internal technical teams to resolve service disruptions and support new implementations.\nParticipate in scheduled maintenance windows, patching activities, and occasional after-hours support rotations.\nAssist with disaster recovery planning, testing, and continuity of operations activities.\nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications\nMinimum Qualifications:\nThis position for full-time after-hours network engineering support.\nSaturday - Sunday: one out of three shifts covering 24 hours (Day, Swing, or Night)\nMonday - Friday: three weekdays for one out of two shifts (Swing or Night)\nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Relevant experience may be substituted for education.\n5 years of experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure.\nExperience with LAN/WAN technologies, routing, switching, and network troubleshooting.\nExperience configuring and supporting Cisco routers and switches.\nKnowledge of routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.\nExperience supporting firewalls, ACLs, VPN tunnels, and network security controls.\nUnderstanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VLANs, and wireless networking concepts.\nExperience working within change management and incident management processes.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and customer service skills.\nAbility to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nCisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher certification.\nCisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).\nCompTIA Security+ certification.\nExperience supporting federal government IT environments.\nExperience supporting Palo Alto GlobalProtect\nExperience configuring and supporting Fortigate\nFamiliarity with NIST, STIG, and federal cybersecurity requirements.\nExperience with Azure, AWS, or hybrid cloud networking.\nExperience supporting load balancers, SSL offloading technologies, and network monitoring tools.\nSuccessfully pass background and drug screening\n\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nStrong knowledge of enterprise networking concepts including LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching.\nExperience configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN technologies.\nKnowledge of network security principles, access controls, firewall policies, intrusion detection/prevention, and vulnerability remediation.\nAbility to analyze network performance, identify root causes of connectivity issues, and implement effective solutions.\nExperience with network monitoring, incident management, change management, and IT service management processes.\nStrong technical documentation skills, including development of network diagrams, procedures, and configuration standards.\nEffective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical teams and provide customer-focused support.\nEstimated Salary/Wage\nUSD $90,000.00/Yr.
