The RT Supervisor is responsible for exercising leadership, maintaining high morale, and directing & inspecting the performance of all security personnel assigned to the shift. The RT Supervisor is directly accountable to the Senior Shift Supervisors (LT’s). The RT Supervisor is a member of a cohesive team assigned to either the Mobile Response Team or the Quick Reaction Force team, specially trained in special tactics, response, planning, and the use of specialized equipment, firearms, and other weapons. RT Supervisors provide an immediate mobile response to resolve a variety of critical security incidents effectively and safely including active shooter, terrorist aggression, and workplace violence. The RT Supervisor is armed with a side arm, M4, or other weapons as required..\nResponsibilities\nConduct all duties outlined by the MRT Lieutenant, Site Manager or Project Manager. \nParticipate in physically demanding endurance and team training scenarios and exercises. \nContinuously maintain weapons qualifications with all assigned and team issued weapons systems. \nMaintain physical standards to meet contract requirements. \nMaintain all related technical certifications required by Chenega and the client. \nPosition requires complete shift flexibility and open availability to meet the operational requirements of the RT. \nBe subject to 24/7 recall for emergency response. \nAs a critical position will be required to report and remain available for emergency duty in expectation of a natural disaster, inclement weather, critical missions or declared emergency. \n Required to follow all company personnel and safety policies and perform all assigned duties in a safe work manner. \nWill arrive at work in proper uniform and carrying needed, issued equipment. \nWill be responsible for cleanliness of uniform and equipment assigned. \nWill be required to exercise force up to and including deadly force. \nWill participate in Guard Mount, receive assigned post, and copy any extra instructions. \nWill carry out general and special orders for post-assigned. \nWill communicate via radio, telephone and orally according to orders. \nRequired to interact and V.I. P’s and escort as required with public and government personnel. \nWill provide access control, vehicle inspections, personnel inspections, traffic control and conduct walking and motorized armed security functions. \nWill conduct personnel, vehicular, building, & facility checks and package & parcel inspections. \nMust be able to work flexible hours to include weekends and holidays if needed.\nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications\nMinimum Qualifications:\nMinimum High School Diploma or GED. \nMust be at least 21 years of age. \nSupervisory experience preferably with a civilian police force, military police force, or civilian security guard organization. \nMust be able to possess and maintain a valid Georgia state driver’s license. \nBe able to meet any Federal, State, or Municipal requirements to work as a Security Guard. \nMust be able to meet drug testing and alcohol - free workforce requirements to include random drug and/or alcohol testing. \nMust speak, read, write, and understand the English language, apply written rules, detailed orders, instructions and training material. \nHave no criminal record or history of illegal drug use, sale, possession, or manufacture. \nHave no felony convictions and no convictions that reflect on the individual’s reliability including those crimes classified under the Lautenburg Act. \nMust be able to maintain and qualify periodically on a course of fire with handgun, rifle, or other special weapons. \nSuccessfully completed all training and have obtained all required permits, licenses, certifications and security clearances for the site. \nMust possess state issued firearm license within 180 days of employment.\nSuccessfully pass background and drug screening\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPreferred 3 years’ military or law enforcement experience\n\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nIdentifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics. \nApproaches others in a tactful manner;
