Your work will help developer communities re-imagine the capabilities of location-aware software applications that enable real-world improvements.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain back-end services and APIs\nCollaborate with front-end developers and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions\nBuild and enhance CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment speed and reliability\nEnsure application performance, security, and scalability\nParticipate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices\nMaintain production systems and resolve issues as required.\nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications\nBachelor’s in computer science, Mathematics, and Geographic Information Systems\n(GIS), or a STEM-related field\n5+ years of experience with web design and web front-end developmentProven web design/development experience using HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript and JavaScript.\nExperience with front-end development libraries, such as React, Angular, Vue, etc.\nBackground building high availability and high scalability solutions\n\nActive or Current (within two years of active) Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMaster's in Computer Science, Mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or STEM-related field\nEsri certification\nCompTIA Security + certification\nExperience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) \nExperience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools\nExposure to DevSecOps practices and secure development pipelines\nExperience working in Agile or Scrum development environments\n\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nAbility to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting\nMust be capable of managing multiple efforts with time-related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment\nDemonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals\nFriendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.\nExcellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications\nProficient with Microsoft Office Applications, and experience working in a home office setting, as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues.\nAbility to provide technical assistance and support over the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, and previous customer service experience strongly desired.\nGood problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it\nHow you’ll grow\nAt Chenega MIOS, our professional development plan focuses on helping our team members at every level of their careers to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
