SecuriGence is seeking a talented Senior Network Engineer to help contribute to our success. Come help us solve problems with Innovation through Intelligence. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be assigned to an engineering implementation team with a concentration of networking capabilities. As a member of the implementation team, you will have the opportunity to be engaged in a variety of solution implementations, rather than just networking-focused.\nResponsibilities\nDesign and troubleshoot complex network architectures and solutions.\nUse centralized network management tools to gather statistics, generate usage reports, and back up device configurations.\nProvide technical leadership on major network tasks and enterprise technology initiatives.\nResearch and evaluate emerging network technologies, protocols, and applications for potential integration into the enterprise environment.\nEnsure seamless and secure connectivity across all enterprise endpoints.\nAnalyze interoperability, integration, and deployment issues; optimize topology and site configurations.\nApply advanced network design tools and techniques to develop efficient and secure architectures.\nSupport mission-critical operations, with the expectation of occasional off-duty work hours.\nDevelop automation using tools such as Ansible, Python, Terraform, or Cisco DNA Center\nCollaborate with security, systems, cloud, and DevOps teams to align infrastructure strategies\nCoordinate with vendors and service providers for escalations, procurement, and support\nConfigure and manage security policies, NAT rules, decryption, and application-based controls (App-ID, User-ID, Content-ID)\nMonitor and analyze firewall logs, threat intelligence feeds, and traffic flows to proactively identify and mitigate risks.\nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in network management or other related fields. Additional years of experience can be used in lieu of a degree.\n8+ years of professional experience in network engineering and NGFWsClassified/Air-gapped Network experience\n\nIAT II requiredPalo Alto Network Security Professional is preferred\n\nSecret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI\n\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nIn-depth understanding of network architecture design, including LAN, WAN, SDN, VPNs, and hybrid cloud environments. Experience with SD-WAN technologies and solutions is a plus.\nExpertise in routing, switching, firewalls, load balancers, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.\nAdvanced troubleshooting and problem-solving across complex enterprise networks.\nStrong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, and other core networking protocols. \nKnowledge of classified/unclassified government network requirements, NIST, DISA STIGs, and other cybersecurity frameworks.\nEffective collaboration with cross-functional teams, including security, systems engineering, and program management.\nLead enterprise-scale network operations in a secure, mission-critical environment.\nAbility to adapt to shifting priorities and lead through change.\nFamiliarity with SIEM and SOAR solutions (XSOAR, Swimlane, Splunk, Cortex XDR, QRadar, etc.).\nFamiliarity with cross-functional tool connections and how they interact with each other over the network.\nHow you’ll grow\nAt Chenega MIOS, our professional development plan focuses on helping our team members at every level of their careers to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
