Together, the companies aligned under the MIOS SBU offer a diverse and complementary range of capabilities that strengthen our capacity for shared knowledge and mission-focused service to our customers.\nThe Senior Procurement Analyst will assist in a full range of procurement services that include procurement and managing purchases. The Senior Procurement Analyst will perform continuous process improvement and ensure purchasing policies and procedures are being implemented.\nResponsibilities\nInterface with vendors, SBU, and subsidiary operations. \nPrepare new request for quotation (RFQ) activities.\nPerform price analysis and negotiation with vendors to yield a procurement price that is fair and reasonable.\nSet up new vendors, including FCPA due diligence on foreign vendors\nMaintain approved vendor database to include vendor ratings and vendor business entity information.\nPrepare and process purchase orders for supplies and equipment, maintain thorough and complete purchase and inventory records of all purchased goods and services in accordance with purchasing policy.\nDevelop and maintain a strong partnership with key vendors.\nNegotiates prices, terms, schedules and other provisions of purchase orders and acquisition contracts.\nEnsure compliance with internal purchasing policies including receipt of all required requisitions with approvals.\nEvaluate and facilitate negotiations for terms and conditions for purchases in a timely manner. \nProvide procurement advice and counsel to Program Managers, Program Leads and other related functions.\nWork with Program Controller and/or MIOS Finance to ensure purchase orders are paid in accordance with executed agreements and work to resolve payment issues.\nResearch and resolve purchasing issues, disputes, terms/conditions, etc. \nInitiate and execute purchase order closeout.\nMaintain the Procurement sites in Chenega Share and buyer’s files in ProDocs.\nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications\nBachelor’s Degree and 3+ years’ procurement experience OR \nAssociate’s degree and 5+ years procurement of experience OR\nHigh school diploma or GED and 7+ years of procurement experience.Experience working with suppliers across technology, hardware, or software categories in support of Government contracts. \nBusiness, logistics, and accounting structure experience are strongly desired. \n\nBackground check\nSuccessfully pass background and drug screening\nPreferred Qualifications:\n5+ years of experience with federal government contracting to include:Procurement file documentation\nCPSR requirements\nProposal process for federal acquisition\n\nAdvanced knowledge of FAR/DFAR and Public Law requirements related to Government procurements.\nCONUS and OCONUS construction procurements in support of Government Contracts. \n\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nAbility to work in a hybrid environment if located near the Chenega MIOS Lorton, VA headquarters\nPossess excellent verbal and written communication skills. \nPossess strong skills in organizing and managing time across multiple time zones, tasks and customer needs\nMust have the ability to work independently or in a team environment.\nKnowledge of government acquisition laws, regulations and guidelines. \nKnowledge of federal government contracting environment, FAR and Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR). \nMust have advanced working knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation software (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), SharePoint, Outlook and Costpoint Materials module. \nMust have the ability to work nights, weekends and Holidays as needed.\nKnowledge of ProDocs and Venminder a plus.\nHow you’ll grow\nAt Chenega MIOS, our professional development plan focuses on helping our team members at every level of their careers to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
