This position is responsible for overseeing daily security activities, supervising personnel, and ensuring access control, visitor management, alarm monitoring, and emergency response operations are executed in accordance with contract requirements and established security procedures.\nThe ideal candidate is a proven security leader with experience managing personnel, responding to incidents, and maintaining operational readiness in a dynamic environment. This role offers the opportunity to lead security teams, support mission-critical operations, and contribute directly to the safety and security of MDA personnel, facilities, and assets. \nResponsibilities\nProvide leadership and supervision for security personnel assigned to daily operational activities. \nOversee access control, visitor management, alarm response, dispatch operations, and circulation enforcement functions. \nEnsure all security activities are conducted in compliance with contract requirements, policies, and operational procedures. \nCollaborate with Operations Managers and site leadership to support contract performance and mission objectives. \nSupervise Security Control Center activities and monitor operational effectiveness. \nSupport badge administration and Common Access Card (CAC) administration programs. \nEnsure personnel are properly trained, qualified, and prepared to perform assigned duties. \nMonitor security operations and address issues that impact safety, security, or operational readiness. \nRespond to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and other security-related situations as required. \nConduct security inspections and assist with operational assessments and reporting activities. \nProvide first response and initial assessment during medical, fire, security, and emergency situations. \nPerform other duties as assigned. \nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Security, Law Enforcement, Management, or a related field and/or equivalent training and experience; OR Associate degree and eight (8) years of related experience and/or equivalent training and experience. \nMinimum of six (6) years of management experience, preferably in a civilian police, military police, security, or related organization. \nMinimum of eight (8) years of experience in security, law enforcement, military, or related operational environments, with six (6) years at the supervisory level. \nMinimum of six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in analytical decision-making, administrative leadership, and operational management. \nMinimum of six (6) years of specialized experience in physical security, law enforcement, or related security operations. \nPrevious experience as a Site Manager, Site Supervisor, or similar leadership position. \nMust be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. \nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting Department of Defense, Missile Defense Agency, or federal government security contracts. \nExperience managing Security Control Center, access control, or visitor management operations. \nExperience supervising security teams in a high-tempo operational environment. \nCPR, AED, and First Aid certifications. \nExperience with electronic security systems, alarm monitoring, and incident response programs. \nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nKnowledge of physical security operations, access control procedures, emergency response practices, and visitor management programs. \nStrong leadership, supervisory, and team development skills. \nAbility to assess incidents and make sound decisions in fast-paced environments. \nStrong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. \nAbility to manage multiple priorities while maintaining operational effectiveness. \nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook. \nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. \nAbility to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and contract requirements. \nStrong customer service and stakeholder engagement skills. \nCommitment to operational excellence, workforce development, and mission
