In this role, you will provide direct supervision and guidance to Security Officers while ensuring the successful execution of security activities during your assigned shift. The Shift Supervisor serves as a key member of the leadership team, helping maintain operational effectiveness, employee accountability, and customer satisfaction. during assigned shifts to ensure contractual requirements and company standards are consistently achieved. \nDirect daily activities and work assignments of Security Officers to maintain effective coverage and operational readiness. \nProvide leadership, guidance, and support to personnel while fostering a professional and positive work environment. \nEnsure officers understand and comply with post orders, standard operating procedures, and customer requirements. \nAddress routine operational challenges and escalate significant issues to senior leadership as appropriate. \nCoordinate staffing assignments and post coverage to ensure uninterrupted security operations. \nAssist with shift scheduling and managing coverage for planned and unplanned absences. \nSupport onboarding, training, mentoring, and development of security personnel. \nMonitor employee performance and provide constructive feedback and coaching. \nPromote accountability, professionalism, teamwork, and high morale among assigned personnel. \nConduct site patrols, post inspections, and operational reviews to ensure adherence to security requirements and quality standards. \nMonitor access control activities and ensure security procedures are consistently followed. \nSupport perimeter security, facility security, visitor management, and traffic control functions. \nEnsure personnel maintain required equipment, uniforms, and operational readiness standards. \nRespond to security incidents, emergencies, and unusual situations requiring supervisory involvement. \nEnsure incidents, accidents, and security concerns are documented accurately and reported appropriately. \nReview officer reports and activity logs for completeness, accuracy, and professionalism. \nNotify management of critical incidents, operational concerns, and emergency situations in a timely manner. \nAssist with preliminary fact-finding and information gathering following operational incidents. \nMaintain accurate records and documentation related to shift activities. \nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent. \nMinimum of two (2) years of supervisory, team lead, military leadership, law enforcement, corrections, or security management experience preferred. \nMust be at least 21 years of age. \nAbility to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to interpret policies, procedures, post orders, and training materials. \nAbility to obtain and maintain all required licenses, certifications, registrations, and security credentials required by the contract. \nAbility to pass all required background investigations and screening requirements\nSuccessfully pass background and drug screening\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPrior experience in security supervision, military leadership, law enforcement, corrections, or emergency response. \nExperience supporting federal, government, healthcare, critical infrastructure, or high-security environments. \nKnowledge of physical security systems, access control systems, alarm monitoring, and emergency response procedures. \nPrior experience supervising teams in a 24/7 operational environment. \n\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nDemonstrated leadership and team-building abilities. \nStrong interpersonal and employee coaching skills. \nExcellent written and verbal communication abilities. \nAbility to analyze situations, assess risks, and make sound decisions under pressure. \nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail. \nAbility to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. \nProfessional conflict resolution and problem-solving skills. \nExperience utilizing Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. \nAbility to prepare accurate reports, logs, and incident documentation. \nCommitment to integrity, professionalism, accountability, and customer service. \nEstimated
