As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily security operations, ensuring contract compliance, mentoring security personnel, and maintaining a safe and secure environment for government employees, visitors, facilities, and assets.\nResponsibilities\nProvide direct supervision, leadership, and direction to Armed Security Officers assigned to your shift. \nFoster a culture of professionalism, accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence. \nConduct shift briefings and guard mount activities to communicate operational updates, post assignments, and special instructions. \nCoach and mentor personnel while addressing performance concerns and recognizing exceptional work. \nServe as the primary point of contact for shift personnel and provide guidance on operational and personnel-related issues. \nEnsure security operations are conducted in accordance with contract requirements, post orders, government regulations, and company policies. \nMonitor officer performance and ensure all assigned posts are staffed and properly covered throughout the shift. \nCoordinate staffing adjustments due to vacancies, scheduled leave, call-offs, or operational requirements. \nConduct inspections of posts, personnel, and security activities to ensure compliance and effectiveness. \nEnsure officers maintain proper appearance standards, equipment accountability, and operational readiness. \nLead response efforts during security incidents, emergencies, and unusual occurrences. \nAssess situations, determine appropriate courses of action, and deploy personnel and resources as necessary. \nImmediately notify the Project Manager of significant incidents, safety concerns, and operational disruptions. \nSupport investigations and ensure accurate documentation of incidents and activities. \nIdentify security vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions when necessary. \nConduct security patrols, inspections, access control operations, and facility checks as needed. \nOversee visitor management, employee screening, and access control procedures. \nAssist with traffic control, emergency response activities, and special security operations. \nMaintain awareness of ongoing activities and emerging security concerns throughout the facility. \nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications\nMinimum Qualifications:\nSuccessfully pass background and drug screening.
