This position provides leadership, guidance, and operational direction to Access Control Officers and other assigned personnel while ensuring security operations are performed safely, professionally, and in accordance with customer requirements, site procedures, and company standards.\nThe Site Supervisor serves as the primary on-shift leader, responsible for workforce management, staffing coordination, performance monitoring, incident response, and operational continuity. This position exercises sound judgment in resolving routine operational issues, allocating personnel resources, interpreting post instructions, and addressing security-related concerns that arise during daily operations.\n ** This position is contingent upon contract award **\nResponsibilities\nProvide direct supervision, guidance, and support to assigned security personnel during each shift. \nAssign work responsibilities and ensure appropriate staffing coverage for all designated posts and operational requirements. \nMonitor employee performance and provide coaching, direction, and on-the-job training as needed. \nPromote professionalism, accountability, teamwork, and adherence to company policies and site procedures. \nAddress routine personnel concerns, operational issues, and scheduling challenges within established authority. \nSupport employee development by identifying training needs and reinforcing performance expectations. \nMaintain shift accountability and ensure personnel are fit for duty and properly equipped to perform assigned responsibilities. \nOversee daily security and access control activities to ensure compliance with site requirements and operational objectives. \nMonitor access control procedures and verify that personnel properly implement visitor management, credential verification, and access authorization processes. \nConduct periodic inspections of assigned posts, facilities, and security operations to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance. \nEnsure security incidents, unusual activities, safety concerns, and policy violations are appropriately documented, reported, and addressed. \nAssist in coordinating responses to incidents, emergencies, and operational disruptions. \nSupport business continuity by ensuring effective communication and coordination among shifts and operational stakeholders. \nOther duties as assigned \nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED required. \nActive Top Secret clearance \nAssociate degree in Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field preferred. \nMinimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible security, access control, military, law enforcement support, or related experience. \nPrevious supervisory, team lead, or shift leadership experience required. \nExperience supporting government, military, industrial, or secured facilities preferred. \nMust be at least 21 years of age. \nMust demonstrate the ability to supervise personnel and maintain operational effectiveness in a dynamic environment. \nSuccessfully pass background and drug screening. \n\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nKnowledge of access control procedures, security operations, visitor management practices, and facility protection principles. \nKnowledge of supervisory practices, workforce management, and employee development techniques. \nKnowledge of incident reporting, security documentation, and operational accountability procedures. \nAbility to lead and motivate personnel while maintaining a positive and professional work environment. \nAbility to analyze situations, identify issues, and implement practical solutions. \nAbility to prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously. \nAbility to interpret and apply policies, procedures, post orders, and customer requirements. \nStrong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. \nStrong customer service and interpersonal communication skills. \nAbility to prepare accurate reports and maintain detailed operational records. \nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, email systems, databases, and electronic access control or security management systems. \nSkill in operating personal computers, standard office equipment, and communication devices. \n\nPhysical Demands: (The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
