Chronos is headquartered in Colorado Springs, CO, and provides mission-critical services in Advanced Analytics & AI, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, and Intelligence.\nChronos Operations, LLC is seeking a Sr. Azure DevOps Solutions Architect that shall provide support services to develop and implement the delivery of a pragmatic set of services in support of BISD’s Agile IT Modernization capabilities.\nResponsibilities\nLead Technologist for MS Power BI, SharePoint, Azure DevOps, and Super Intelligence (SI)\nDesign and implement cloud-based systems and assess customer environments. \nExpert knowledge in design and delivering MS SharePoint, Power BI, and Azure Devops tools and integrations, utilizing approved user stories to develop and configure the COTS solution. \nExpertise in leading customer design sessions.\nDevelop strategic and tactical briefs to executive-level leadership and other stakeholders \nExpert knowledge in dashboarding (especially MS Power BI).\nExpert knowledge in developing, testing, and configuring MS Cloud and On-Prem MS Power BI, SharePoint, Azure DevOps, and Super Intelligence (SI) tools, as well as in installing and creating user and administrative accounts in the various environments.\nParticipate in discussions that seek to drive the migration to future-state tools and processes when possible, and support setup and population of new projects in Azure DevOps.\nResponsible for troubleshooting SharePoint, Power BI Gateway, authentication and permissions issues, and other platform issues.\nResponsible for troubleshooting issues surrounding usage of Azure DevOps, Azure DevOps pipeline deployment automation and SQL database queries.\nCreate Semantic Models and data reports from multiple data sources for use with MS Power BI. \nResponsible for developing C# based Selenium tests to validate changes to deployed web application.\nCreate and maintain information on multiple SharePoint sites.\nDevelop guidance documentation for development tools and IT practices.\nProvide internal team training and professional development opportunities for the technical team to ensure that members stay current with industry best practices and maintain a high level of expertise.\nSupport business management activities as required (e.g., customer technical capabilities briefings, past performance content, technical solutions).\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED equivalent \n4+ years of direct experience in data analysis, data visualization, and/or data management and reporting (Power BI, SharePoint)Must have experience in Azure DevOps administration and development tools.\nMust have experience in DevOps principles like continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous monitoring.\nMust have experience with Azure Boards, Azure Pipelines, Azure Repos, and Azure Artifacts. \n\nU.S. Citizenship required\nBackground check with the ability to obtain a Public Trust\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited university OR High school diploma or GED equivalent and an additional 6+ years of relevant experience may be used instead of a degree.\nMicrosoft Azure (e.g. Azure DevOps) and/or Microsoft 365 (e.g. SharePoint) certifications preferred\nQuality certification preferred (e.g., Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI), ISO, Six Sigma, etc.). \n\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities: \nExperience in Azure DevOps administration and development tools\nExperience helping development teams apply an Agile framework.\nAbility to analyze technical problems and propose solutions\nStrong leadership and interpersonal skills\nExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner\nExperience in organizational transformation and change management\nAdvanced skills in problem-solving\nGood work ethic and active desire to learn\nSkillful time management and organizational skills to set and meet deadlines\nExcellent written and oral communication skills\nAbility to work both independently and within a team\nAbility to work effectively in a team environment to encourage collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement\nAbility to be in a leadership role\nAbility to meet minimum security requirements\nAbility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.\nAbility to travel 10%.\nHow you’ll grow\nAt Chenega MIOS, our professional development plan focuses on helping our team members at every level of their careers to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
