In an ever-changing economy, Cyberstar helps companies better read and understand their market data through the synchronization of process innovation, human dynamics, analysis, and the integration of data technology capabilities, to ensure functional optimization in their business.\nThe System Administrator V will support applications and information technology systems including architecture, installation, configuration, backup and recovery, documentation, operational and development programming, reporting, system maintenance, workstation connectivity, user support, user training, security implementation, certification and accreditation, and user account administration.\nResponsibilities\nInstall, Support may include (but not limited to): backup and recovery of Data Operations Center (DOC), systems, patching of systems, providing Tier II/III support to lower tiers, performance tuning, hardware and software upgrades, operational configurations, resource optimization, etc.\nServes as SME for a Shared Services Enterprise Datacenter information technology projects.\nShall administer Windows Network in an enterprise environment along with applicable Linux servers/devices\nEnsure that all system administration activities follow established OIT guidelines and procedures.\nTrack vulnerabilities and perform patching on Linux systems in compliance with requirements set forth.\nEstablish file storage shares/folders with the proper ACL permissions; new and migrated.\nResponsible for the security and administrative controls of service(s) and/or system(s).\nResponsible for Information technology on multiple computers or network devices represented within an onsite system and/or a remote site \nAssist with agency specific risk assessments to identify, categorize, prioritize, and manage HVAs.\nPerform systems management and system monitoring and upgrade of all applicable systems.\nDocument current procedures which relate to tasks.\nWork with other staff in developing and documenting new procedures for tasks.\nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications\nAssociate’s degree, Certificate from technical training institute or combination of education and experience. \n5+ years of related technical experience in supporting Information Technology environment at the server/data center level.\nAbility to obtain Public Trust\n\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nAbility to lead projects\nAbility to support Microsoft and Linux Operating systems. Knowledge of other Microsoft Products used to manage an enterprise operation. \nKnowledge of VMWare. Experience in industry standard data center physical security tools and applications. \nKnowledge of DCIM and tools used.
