The Vendor Manager is responsible for the effective use of resources in meeting the requirements of providing quality maintenance, logistics, and relocation services.\nA successful candidate will be well-organized with strong attention to detail and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.\nResponsibilities\nPrimary responsibilities involve providing day-to-day financial guidance and leadership\nResponsible for the accurate and timely financial execution and reporting, including purchase orders, purchase requisitions, and timely payment of vendors. Acts in accordance with company policies and procedures and applicable laws. \nDuties include timekeeping, required training, and onboarding\nEstablish and maintain a consistent, deliberate cadence of vendor meetings\nPerform quarterly review of vendors, to include performance measurements and feedback\nProvides weekly input to WAR\nGenerate Monthly Status Report - coordinate resources, prepare draft, provide draft to program leadership for peer review prior to monthly submission\nResolve problems, complete audits, and identify trends.\nPlan, direct, and coordinate financial activities across the program\nDetermine, monitor, and review all directorate activities, including cost, operational budgets, staffing requirements, subcontracts, and mitigation of risks. \nResponsible for the direction and compliance of maintenance and logistics elements of both prime contract and subcontracts. \nDirect activities of assigned personnel through coordination with other management team members\nAssist in resolution of contractual issues through coordination with the Program Manager and parent company procurement personnel. \nEnsure compliance with environmental, safety, and security requirements. \nReview technical documentation and provide requested/required reports to customers and corporate elements. \nMay assist the Program Manager and/or DPM to gather and document Program Management Review and/or Weekly Activity Report (WAR) data for presentation to customer and corporate elements. \nPrepare scheduled and ad-hoc financial reports\nPrepare and submit deliverables as directed\nKeep detailed financial records of Lorton and Albuquerque activities\nReview and approve/disapprove vendor invoices.\nParticipate in continuous process improvement projects.\nPlan, direct, and manage any special engineering projects if required.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or equivalent\n3+ years of financial management\n3+ years of personnel management\nCBP Background Investigation (BI).\nSuccessfully pass background and drug screening.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nCostpoint, MAXIMO\nPMP\nKnowledge of federal government contracting environment\nIn-depth knowledge of government procurement regulations, DHS policies and procedures, and Federal Travel Regulations.\n\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nStrong Financial skills required.\nMust demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills, strong work ethic, ability to be a self-starter, and the desire to work and succeed in a rigorous and challenging dynamic business environment.\nExcellent writing, presentation, verbal skills, report preparation, and technical writing required.
