The coordinator works directly with Operations and SCM and is accountable for the execution of warehouse operations duties to support maintenance activities ensuring security of all materials under inventory for the support of the construction, operation and maintenance of the LNG terminal and Pipeline Operations. The Warehouse Operations Coordinator will provide support to daily warehouse operations and system transactions of stock and non-stock items, monitoring of inbound and outbound shipments, cycle count, materials movement, and the general housekeeping of the facilities and storage areas.\nDedication and sensitivity to safety issues and compliance with policies and procedures are essential for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the terminal and the facilities, including but not limited to warehouses.\nRESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES\nMeet quality and productivity Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Track manual performance indicators as needed and requested by Supervisor/Manager.\nLoad and unload delivery vehicles.\nAccurately inspect and verify material matches purchase order. \nPerform various warehouse operations functions, including receiving, transferring, sorting, stocking, palletizing, picking, packing, staging, replenishing, load parts, and cycle counts, throughout the shift using various types of material handling equipment.\nIssue inventory items against work orders and properly log and process inbound parcel shipments.\nAble to operate material handling equipment, such as: manlift, forklift.\nRead, understand, and comply with Company’s operating procedures, policies, guidelines, and day-to-day job instructions.\nEnsure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and other applicable regulatory agencies.\nPerform preventative maintenance as directed by Supervisor/Manager.\nShip and track material and equipment sent offsite for repairs or testing. \nRestock consumables and prepare material in advance (staging) for pick up.\nEnsures all storage areas are maintained in accordance with government regulations and safety standards, and adequate records and documents are initiated and maintained.\nConducts cycle counts for inventory accuracy. \nWork closely with operations (including maintenance planning) for all material, equipment, and consumables requirements. \nProvide assistance for tracking shipments and deliveries (when needed). \nSolve problems and issues related to stock and non-stock material management.\nWork safely, comply with all safety rules, maintain a clean and safe work area, use equipment and tools safely. Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Report incidents immediately per Company’s HSE standards.\nAble to adjust work schedule as required, especially when covering turn arounds and emergencies events. \nUse barcode printers and readers for stock and non-stock items management.\nEngage in Continuous Improvement activities.\nThe duties and responsibilities described above are not a comprehensive list, and additional tasks may be assigned to the employee from time to time, or the scope of the job may change as necessitated by business demands. \nKNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS\nKnowledge of all processes and capabilities to manage inventory and warehouse operations processes for complex materials and services used in the construction, maintenance, and operation of energy industry. \nSolid background in warehouse operations and distribution centers, inventory control and execution, and movement of critical material, consumables, and equipment.\nUnderstanding of plant operations, transportation, logistics, storage, and processing including safety and security, maintenance, operations, governmental regulations and associated codes and standards. \nKnowledge of plant maintenance schedules, demand, and processes.\nStrong safety minded skills, sensitivity to safety issues in a hazardous environment.\nEffective communicator with individuals and groups from different disciplines and departments.\nEffective team player\nGreat written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.\nOrganized and able to complete multiple activities and programs timely and with a high degree of accuracy.\nExceptional problem solving and analytical skills.\nMaterial Handling Equipment certification experience.\nComputer proficiency, including but not limited to: Oracle, Maximo, Microsoft Office.\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE\nEducation and Certifications: High School diploma or equivalent is required.\nExperience:Minimum 3 years' experience in warehouse operations and logistics required. Preferably with experience supporting a 24/7 operation facility in the LNG or oil and gas industry.\nDIRECT REPORTS\nNo direct reports.\nFREEDOM TO ACT\nRequires supervision; Must also use sound judgment and make good decisions.\nWORK CONDITIONS\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required to stand, walk, sit, climb stairs, work at height above ground on stairs and catwalks, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk or hear, smell, type and write. \nMust be able to board a ship via a gangway, climb to the top of a tank (200+ steps), scale vertical steel ladder up to forty feet or more in height, and lift and move objects weighting up to 50 pounds.\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee will work indoors and outdoors, and exposed to year around weather conditions, ocean environment, noise, and occasionally process gases and vapors.\nSpecific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.\nSubject to drug and alcohol testing, per applicable federal regulations.\nAll responsibilities must be met in a call-out environment, including holidays, weekends, and nights.\nMust be forklift operator certified and shall be able to maintain valid for the support of the warehouse operations under his/her supervision.\nOccasional travel to support other facilities may be required.\nWarehouse Ops work schedule: 4x10 schedule (Day shift - 10hrs/day, 4 days/week), \nShift schedule (Rotating between 12hrs Day/Night Shift, 7days/week)Shift week starts Thursday and ends on Wednesday. \n\nCallouts during time off will be applicable in support of emergencies, heavy workload or unplanned events.
