Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets and transports load to designated area.\nConduct inspection of the forklift prior to operating, promptly reporting issues to maintenance team for resolution.\nLoading and Unloading:\nAssist in loading and unloading trucks or containers with pallets or materials using the forklift, ensuring proper placement and securement of items.\nLift and carry up to 65lbs \nPush items with a maximum force of 34 lbs./feet. \nPull items with a maximum force of 34 lbs./feet\nSafety and Compliance:\nAdhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery.\nMaintain awareness of pedestrian and vehicle traffic in the work area\nWear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment daily ·\nReport any safety hazards or concerns to supervisors immediately.\nKey Responsibilities May Include:\nMaterial Handling & Forklift Operation:\n\nJob Details\nJob Details\nRole Scope and Complexity\nThe Forklift Operator plays a critical role in supporting production operations by ensuring a continuous flow of materials throughout the facility. This position is responsible for supplying broken pallet stock to automated repair systems, removing finished product from production lines, and transporting materials safely and efficiently to designated staging areas. The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and productivity.\nSchedule, Travel, and Language Requirements\nShift: 3rd Shift, 11:30 PM to 7:00 AM\n\nPay $19.90+$2.00 shift Differential $21.90\n\nTravel: No travel required\n\nLanguages: English preferred; additional languages are welcomed but not required\n\nKey Responsibilities and Focus (First 12 Months)\nDuring the first year, the successful candidate will focus on:\nSafely loading automated roller systems with broken pallet stock for repair\n\nRemoving finished product from automated production rollers and transporting it to designated storage or staging locations\n\nMaintaining consistent material flow to minimize production downtime\n\nConducting pre-shift equipment inspections and reporting maintenance concerns\n\nFollowing all facility safety procedures and forklift operating standards\n\nDeveloping a thorough understanding of production workflows and material handling processes\n\nContributing to a clean, organized, and efficient work environment\n\nEquipment and Technical Requirements\nExperience operating forklifts in a warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial environment preferred\n\nAbility to operate both electric and propane-powered forklifts\n\nStrong awareness of workplace safety practices and material handling procedures\n\nAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment\n\nBasic communication skills and ability to work effectively with production team members\n\nForklift certification preferred or willingness to become certified\n\nAdditional Information\nThis position is essential to maintaining production efficiency and supporting the overall success of the operation.
