We're looking for a visible and hands-on leader who can build on that success while strengthening the team's focus on safety, process discipline and operational excellence.\nThis isn't a Supervisor role where you'll spend your shift behind a desk. It's a genuinely hands-on leadership opportunity. You'll spend around 70-80% of your shift on the floor with your team, leading from the front, coaching in the moment and making sure everyone goes home safely at the end of every shift.\nWith significant autonomy and responsibility, this role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a shift, develop your leadership capability and make a visible impact within one of CHEP's most important operations.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nLeading a safe, inclusive and high-performing night shift team\nSpending the majority of your shift on the floor, working closely with your team and leading from the front\nBuilding a strong safety culture where standards and processes are consistently followed\nCoaching team members in the moment and reinforcing safe ways of working\nBuilding trust through consistency, communication and following through on commitments\nMaintaining strong performance across safety, quality, service and productivity measures\nHolding yourself and your team accountable while creating an environment where people feel supported to perform at their best\nPlanning resources and coordinating night shift activities to meet operational requirements\nWorking closely with Team Leaders and the broader site leadership team to deliver operational priorities\nWhat You Bring\nExperience leading teams within a manufacturing, production, logistics, warehousing or operational environment\nA genuine commitment to safety and the confidence to challenge unsafe behaviours or shortcuts\nA leadership style that is visible, approachable and focused on supporting frontline teams\nThe ability to build trust, credibility and engagement across diverse teams\nStrong communication skills and the ability to set clear expectations\nExperience coaching, developing and influencing team members to perform at their best\nSound problem-solving and decision-making skills\nPrevious experience in a Team Leader, Supervisor or equivalent leadership position is highly regarded\nMost importantly, a genuine desire to lead from the front and help others succeed\nWhy Eastern Creek?\nNight shift leadership comes with a unique level of ownership and trust.
