Pay commensurate with experience.\nFull time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided.Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.\nData Scientist - Mid Responsibilities Include:\nConduct data analytics, data engineering, data mining, exploratory analysis, predictive analysis, and statistical analysis, and uses scientific techniques to correlate data into graphical, written, visual and verbal narrative products, enabling more informed analytic decisions\n\nProactively retrieve information from various sources, analyzes it for better understanding about the data set, and builds AI tools that automate certain processes\n\nPerform statistical analysis, apply data mining techniques, and build high quality prediction systems\n\nDesign how data will be stored, accessed, used, integrated, and managed by different data regimes and digital systems.\n\nWork with data users to determine, create, and populate optimal data architectures, structures, and systems.\n\nPlans, designs, and optimizes data throughput and query performance.\n\nPerforms other job-related duties as assigned\n\nData Scientist - Mid Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: \nEight (8) years of relevant experience preferred\n\nBachelor’s degree preferred\n\nSkilled in data visualization and use of graphical applications, including Microsoft Office (Power BI) and Tableau\n\nSkilled in major data science languages, such as R and Python\n\nExperience in managing and merging of disparate data sources, preferably through R, Python, or SQL\n\nExperience with statistical analysis and data mining algorithms\n\nExperience with large data Multi-INT analytics, ML, and automated predictive analytics\n\nComprehensive mission knowledge and skills that affirms completion of all developmental training\n\nAbility to communicate understanding from information that may be incomplete, indirect, highly complex, seemingly unrelated, and / or technically advanced\n\nAbility to structure analysis based on trends in reporting and a range of analytic perspectives from other analysts, organizations, and intelligence disciplines\n\nAbility to work independently with minimal oversight and direction\n\nAbility to collaborate and work with other IC members on information Sharing, driving collection, and addressing analytic disputes and conflict resolution.\n\nAbility to develop concise, insightful. and comprehensive products for defense intelligence.\n\nAbility to lead teams in researching multifaceted or critical problems.\n\nMust pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal\n\nCompany Information:\nCherokee Strategic Edge (CSE) is a part of Cherokee Federal - the division of tribally owned federal contracting companies owned by Cherokee Nation Businesses.
