This role ensures timely procurement, accurate documentation, and proper coordination with vendors and internal stakeholders.\nCompensation & Benefits:\nEstimated Starting Salary Range for Procurement Technician: $68,000 to $70,000.\nPay commensurate with experience.\nFull time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided.Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.\nProcurement Technician Responsibilities Include: \nGenerate work-in-process (WIP) reports and assist in tracking old awards or unassigned actions in the WIP report that need to be cancelled or other action taken.\n\nMaintain and update work assignments within financial and workload management systems.\n\nReceive and distribute electronic copies of Procurement Requests (PRs), proposals and supporting documentation.\n\nReview proposal packages and request missing information.\n\nInterface with the Business Financial Managers (BFMs), Program Analyst/Officers, and Support Contractors to check status on actions and to request missing documents or proposals.\n\nInterface with Finance Office (Code 08) on Obligation/Commitment Issues.\nProvide copies of awards to Program Officers, Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and others.\n\nRespond to both Contracting/Grant Officer and Contract/Grant Specialist requests.\n\nPrepare complete electronic award file folders.\n\nCoordinate DCMA’s request to verify receipt of all deliverables for completed or expired awards.\n\nRespond to No Funds Extension (NFEs) requests, coordinate approval with Program Office, and draft modification.\n\nDraft documents for review such as memos to file; awards; modifications, primarily administrative and incremental funding actions; and other file documentation as required.\n\nAssist KO’s with electronic filing to include drafting the contract file index, filing of documents in respective systems, and correct use of naming conventions.\n\nConduct/support special projects as assigned by the Branch Head or Code 25 Director.\n\nSchedule and organize meetings including reserving conference rooms.\n\nPerforms other job-related duties as assigned\n\nProcurement Technician Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: \nBachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
