This role requires hands-on Salesforce development and configuration experience with the ability to translate business and technical requirements into effective platform solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience with Salesforce configuration and development, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flow, data modeling, integrations, and platform security. Experience supporting AWS cloud environments or integrating Salesforce with AWS is highly preferred. AWS certifications or demonstrated experience with AWS services, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and CI/CD are also preferred.\nCompensation & Benefits:\nEstimated Starting Salary Range for Salesforce Developer/AWS Engineer: $100,000-140,000\nPay commensurate with experience.\nFull time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.\nResponsibilities Include:\n\n Design, configure, develop, test, and maintain Salesforce solutions supporting government mission requirements.\nConfigure Salesforce functionality including custom objects, fields, relationships, validation rules, permissions, security, and Salesforce Flow.\nDevelop and maintain custom Salesforce functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, and related Salesforce technologies.\nWork with government leads and Product Owners to gather requirements, clarify scope, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and support release planning.\nDesign and support integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs, middleware, and cloud services.\nSupport Salesforce solutions that integrate with or leverage AWS services and infrastructure.\nApply Salesforce security best practices, including profiles, permission sets, sharing, access controls, and data security.\nParticipate in CI/CD and DevOps processes supporting Salesforce development, testing, deployment, and release management.\nTroubleshoot Salesforce configuration, code, integration, performance, and deployment issues and document root cause and remediation.\nCollaborate with AWS/cloud engineers, DevOps teams, QA, business analysts, and other technical stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions.\nSupport solutions operating within federal security, governance, auditability, and compliance requirements.\nPresent formal and informal technical briefings to government stakeholders and produce clear technical documentation and decision-support materials.\nPerform other job-related duties as assigned.\nExperience, Education, Skills, Abilities Requested:\nBachelor's degree with preferred study in Computer Science, Information Science, Information Systems Management, Math, Statistics, Operations Research, Engineering, or a related field and a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience. Seven (7) years of related work experience may be substituted for education.\nDemonstrated hands-on Salesforce development and configuration experience.\nExperience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Flow, SOQL, and Salesforce data modeling.\nExperience configuring Salesforce objects, fields, relationships, validation rules, permissions, sharing, and security.\nExperience designing or supporting integrations between Salesforce and external applications using APIs or middleware.\nExperience with Salesforce products such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Public Sector Solutions, Experience Cloud, or MuleSoft preferred.\nSalesforce certification strongly preferred, such as Platform Developer I, Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, or relevant Consultant certification.\nExperience with AWS cloud services or supporting Salesforce solutions integrated with AWS is highly preferred.\nAWS certification, such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect, Developer, SysOps Administrator, or DevOps Engineer, preferred.\nFamiliarity with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, API Gateway, IAM, EC2, EventBridge, or other cloud services is beneficial.\nExperience with CI/CD, source control, and deployment automation.\nFamiliarity with tools such as Git, Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, Copado, Salesforce CLI/SFDX, Terraform, or CloudFormation is preferred.\nExperience supporting federal or public-sector environments preferred.\nFamiliarity with FedRAMP, ATO, NIST 800-53, or other federal security/compliance requirements is preferred.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work directly with technical and government stakeholders.\nAbility to obtain and maintain a government-required background investigation or security clearance as needed.\nU.S. Citizenship is required.\nMust pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.\nCompany Information:\nHESFP, LLC is a part of Cherokee Federal - the division of tribally owned federal contracting companies owned by Cherokee Nation Businesses.
