This Mission Essential position supports enterprise GIS capabilities, installation management, and expeditionary operations across the Indo-Pacific. The analyst works with government personnel to maintain GeoBase systems, manage geospatial data, troubleshoot technical issues, and support mission readiness.\nCompensation & Benefits:\nEstimated Starting Salary Range: $90,000-$100,000 Pay commensurate with experience.\nFull-time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Paid Time Off, and other company benefits.\nTechnical Analyst (Expeditionary) Responsibilities Include:\nSupport PACAF GeoBase enterprise GIS operations.\nMaintain and administer ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, and related GeoBase applications.\nAnalyze technical requirements and recommend solutions.\nManage and validate enterprise geospatial data.\nPerform data quality assurance (QA/QC) and metadata management.\nSupport software installations, upgrades, testing, and configuration management.\nTroubleshoot applications, databases, and system issues.\nCoordinate with system administrators, database administrators, and cybersecurity teams.\nDevelop technical documentation and standard operating procedures.\nProvide technical support and user training.\nSupport contingency, disaster recovery, and continuity of operations activities.\nPrepare technical reports and briefings for leadership.\nSupport Mission Essential operations as required.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nExperience, Education, Skills, & Abilities Requested:\nBachelor's degree in GIS, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Geography, or related field. Equivalent experience may be substituted.\n5+ years of experience supporting DoD GIS, GeoBase, or enterprise IT systems.\nExperience with ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Pro.\nExperience managing geospatial databases and enterprise GIS data.\nKnowledge of SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle databases.\nExperience supporting Air Force or DoD geospatial programs preferred.\nFamiliarity with RMF, STIGs, and DoD cybersecurity requirements.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.\nExperience developing technical documentation and SOPs.\nAbility to support multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.\nActive Secret clearance required.\nCompany Information:\nCherokee Nation Defense Solutions (CNDS) is a part of Cherokee Federal - the division of tribally owned federal contracting companies owned by Cherokee Nation Businesses.
