Help us continue in our success as aClient Service Specialist, with opportunity to work onsite or remotely through our Orlando office.\nAs a Client Service Specialist, you will support the review and examination of Medicaid cost reports by performing structured procedures that help ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with program requirements. You will assist analysts and managers by conducting detailed documentation reviews and examinations, verifying financial data, preparing working papers, and communicating with providers to obtain or clarify information.\nAs aClient Service Specialist, you will:\nReview and examine Medicaid cost reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with program rules. \nFollow established procedures to analyze provider submissions and verify all required information.\nVerify, evaluate and analyze cost report data against general ledgers, trial balances, invoices, financial statements, and other supporting documentation to identify discrepancies, unusual reporting patterns, or inconsistencies.\nCommunicate professionally to request missing documentation, clarifications or obtain additional information from providers when needed.\nPrepare organized, accurate, and thorough workpapers documenting findings and examination or review steps performed.\nResearch fundamental issues using online tools and electronic regulations. \nSupport internal teams with review/examination tasks, analysis, and special projects.\nPerform other duties as needed on engagements and as assigned by supervisory personnel. \nWhat you need from this role:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nAssociate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word required .\nBasic understanding of accounting principles and the flow of financial records required.\nAbility to read and interpret trial balances, general ledger details, and financial statements required.\nExperience performing basic reconciliations (e.g., 941 salary reconciliations or similar) preferred.\nFamiliarity with Medicaid or Medicare reimbursement preferred.\nExcellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills required.\nClear and professional communication skills with a positive, patient, and professional attitude required.\nAbility to manage multiple tasks, proactively solve problems, and meet deadlines required.\nIntegrity, dependability, and trustworthiness required.\nAbility to pass a Level 2 background check, including fingerprinting required.\nWhat you can expect from us:\nOur shared values that foster inclusion and belonging including uncompromising integrity, collaboration, trust, and mutual respect\n\nThe opportunity to innovate and do work that motivates and engages you\n\nA collaborative environment focused on enabling you to further your career growth and continuous professional development\n\nCompetitive compensation and a total rewards package that focuses on all aspects of your wellbeing\n\nFlexibility to do impactful work and the time to enjoy your life outside of work\n\nOpportunities to connect and learn from professionals from different backgrounds and with different cultures\n\nBenefits Information:\nCherry Bekaert cares about our people.
