The Collections Coordinator performs daily accounts receivable follow-up, documentation, and issue resolution to support the firm’s cash-flow and aging goals.\nThe Collections Coordinator will have an opportunity to work a hybrid schedule, working 2-3 days per week out of a Cherry Bekaert office.\nAs Collections Coordinator, you will:\nManage an assigned portfolio of routine AR accounts, performing timely outreach on past-due balances.\nDocument all client interactions, follow-up actions, and commitments in the collections system.\nGenerate and send client statements, reminder notices, and follow-up emails using approved templates.\nReview customer payments for basic discrepancies and coordinate with Billing/Finance to correct errors.\nSupport account research including payment history reviews, invoice copies, portal status checks, and statement reconciliations.\nMonitor aging reports and follow prescribed cadence-based workflow activities.\nEscalate unresolved issues, disputes, and complex discrepancies to the Senior Collections Coordinator or Collections Manager.\nAssist in preparing weekly portfolio updates for team meetings.\nSubmit invoices or documentation through client portals and maintain required artifacts.\nCoordinate with Engagement Teams to obtain missing information, PO numbers, billing clarifications, or approvals.\nMaintain organized, audit-ready documentation in line with internal controls and retention guidelines.\nIdentify minor process inefficiencies and recommend practical improvements.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nWhat you bring to the role:\nHigh School Diploma\nAt least 1 year of collections and/or accounts receivable experience in a professional services or multi-entity environment.\nWhat you can expect from us:\nOur shared values that foster inclusion and belonging including uncompromising integrity, collaboration, trust, and mutual respect\n\nThe opportunity to innovate and do work that motivates and engages you\n\nA collaborative environment focused on enabling you to further your career growth and continuous professional development\n\nCompetitive compensation and a total rewards package that focuses on all aspects of your wellbeing\n\nFlexibility to do impactful work and the time to enjoy your life outside of work\n\nOpportunities to connect and learn from professionals from different backgrounds and with different cultures\n\nBenefits Information:\nCherry Bekaert cares about our people.
