Promote a strong work ethic with a focus on safety, efficiency, teamwork, and production while ensuring all lifting operations are completed in compliance with company policies and applicable safety regulations.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & TASKS:\nTransfer loads to construction site and discharge safely\nAbility to bind loads to the crane or lifts\nInspect equipment and machinery daily\nKeep and update maintenance logs and daily activity log\nSet up equipment based on the load requirements\nFollow all safety guidelines and procedures\nFollow instructions from foreman/supervisors on site and keep job site clean\nAll other duties as assigned\nREQUIREMENTS:\nPrevious experience as a crane operator or shooting boom forklift\nAble to operate 80 ton Grove GRT880 All-Terrain\nAble to operate 130 ton Link Belt RTC-8130-2 All-Terrain\nOperate various Shooting Boom Forklifts\nOperate Skid Steer\nAble to safely follow directions with little to no supervision\nRequirements\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\nAll types of physical movement are required for this position to successfully perform the essential functions.\nAbility to use upper and lower extremities.\nAbility to work outside in heat, inclement weather, and cold.\nAbility to crawl, kneel, crouch, climb, and bend around and under equipment, on ladders up to 24' at heights up to 70', stairs, scaffolds, through small accesses, enter inside of tanks, and confined spaces, through hatches, and manholes throughout much of the work shift.\nAbility to work over bodies of water.\nAbility to traverse uneven terrain, including loose pack gravel\nOperate in isolation within the skeleton of ships, wearing heavy protective gear and carrying equipment weighing up to 75lbs. \nAbility to safely wear and use required personal protective equipment (PPE), including respiratory protection, safety glasses, welding shields, grinding shields, gloves, life jackets, harnesses, hard hats, and other task- or area-specific PPE, as applicable. Employees required to wear tight-fitting respiratory protection must maintain facial hair in a manner that does not interfere with the respirator’s sealing surface or proper fit, in accordance with applicable respiratory protection requirements.\nMENTAL REQUIREMENTS: Normal level of visual acuity needed. Must be able to understand and follow directions. Normal hearing level needed.
