Chestnut also conducts research and training throughout the U.S.A.\n**Please note to be considered for a position you must attach a resume, complete the application, and answer all screening questions.\nResponsibilities\nProvide support for installing and configuring PCs, software, peripherals, and mobile devices.\nInstall, configure, monitor, and maintain server infrastructure, SAN, VMWare VSphere server virtualization, and networking equipment.\nMaintain DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and other member servers on the corporate domain; update and modify AD group policies as needed.\nInstall, configure, and maintain corporate email, internet, and related communication systems.\nTroubleshoot and repair hardware and software issues across all levels.\nAssist with VoIP and telecommunications systems administration under the supervision of the Network Systems Manager.\nPerform system administration duties to ensure system integrity, performance, backups, monitoring, security, and connectivity.\nParticipate as a member of the MIS Security Team to plan, assess, and implement security measures.\nDeliver escalated technical support to helpdesk technicians and perform helpdesk duties as needed during staffing shortages.\nCo-administer data backup systems and procedures.\nStay current on IS/IT technologies and recommend improvements.\nPromote Chestnut’s culture of customer service excellence through adherence to behavioral standards.\nMaintain confidentiality and security of all organizational information, including financial and client data.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Information Systems or a related field and at least three years of network administration experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nExtensive experience with all current Windows server and workstation OS administration.\nStrong background in network design, configuration, and troubleshooting.\nPreferred experience in VoIP, VMWare VSphere server virtualization, and SAN administration.\nGeneral experience in configuring and troubleshooting network devices and servers.\nExcellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.\nIndustry-recognized certification is desirable.\nMust have a valid driver’s license, private automobile insurance, and be insurable.\nAbility to lift 10-20 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds occasionally.\nAre you intrigued by this job but don’t meet every single requirement?
