The scope of the Procurement categories includes both direct and indirect Procurement, covering Caltex retail stations equipment, signages, site maintenance & repair, payment solutions, systems and technologies, marketing agencies, retail sites, tank & terminals maintenance, engineering works, capital projects, logistics & freight forwarding, professional services, packaging, and other general services\nCollaborating closely and building positive relationships with management, business stakeholders, regional/local Procurement team, and external vendors to deliver commercial value in support of Chevron’s business objectives and ensuring full compliance with Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes and procedures. The role also provides opportunities for cross-country support and greatercommercial leverage.\nThe ideal candidate thinks strategically and collaboratively, while also working with significant autonomy; a strong individual who can drive category strategies and has a proven track record of managing multiple initiatives and driving them to completion to meet business objectives; communicates effectively and has the ability to influence business stakeholders and suppliers at all levels, and demonstrate a high level of customer focus and business judgment.\nJob Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, business, supply chain management, or a related field\nAt least 5 years of procurement experience. Relevant experience in marketing, services, and/or technology procurement is an advantage\nExperience in category management, including category planning, contract management, supplier management, and strong negotiation skills\nExperience in developing and applying Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), should-cost modeling, and other category management techniques in strategic sourcing\nKnowledge of commercial and financial analysis related to procurement activities\nStrong analytical and project management skills\nA good team player with a strong drive for performance and results\nExcellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills\nE-Procurement knowledge - SAP capability is an advantage\nRelocation Options:\nRelocation will not be considered.\nInternational Considerations:\nExpatriate assignments will not be considered.\nChevron regrets that it is unable to sponsor employment Visas or consider individuals on time-limited Visa status for this position.\nChevron is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
