This role will be based in 6750 Building, Makati City, Philippines.\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:\nHandles a portfolio of customer accounts with key activities as follows:\n\nMonitors and reviews credit limits of new and existing counterparties; involving in-depth analysis of counterparty’s financial standing, industry review, business outlook, risks and opportunities;\n\nPrepares credit assessment and administer the approval process for credit limits and terms;\n\nApplies credit risk mitigation strategy including obtaining acceptable forms of securities from counterparty;\n\nUpdates and maintain the credit limits and data in system;\n\nProvides advisory function on documentary credit, bank guarantees and standby letter of credit;\n\nProvides advisory function on credit issues in the contract and credit structures such as collateral and mitigation strategy and trade finance tools;\n\nMonitors credit key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Payment Performance; Collection Efficiency Index (CEI); Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), etc;\n\nReviews, assesses and administers approval process for orders blocked due to credit violations;\n\nContributes towards developing and implementing credit risk management processes;\n\nActive participation on improving credit risk management policies to meet industry best practices;\n\nActively implement & comply with the Credit Policy; Ensure the trading and marketing business activities of S&T and Downstream business is conducted according to the Credit Policy\n\nIdentifies, measures and control credit risk mitigation activities in S&T and Downstream business;\n\nActive participation in the development of information systems to accurately capture credit exposures;\n\nPrepares credit management reports; and\n\nMaintains and develops relationships with relevant stakeholders\n\nCollateral Management:\n\nKnowledge and appreciation of ICC UCP600 & ICC ISP98\n\nHandles Letter of Credits i.e. Documentary Letter of Credit (DLC) & Stand by Letter of Credit (SBLC) review & negotiation with S&T counterparties\n\nCoordinates with Banks, S&T Operations, Traders and Legal team for issuance of acceptable LC formats from Chevron bank list\n\nProvides timely clearance and issuance of Credit Security Notification (CSN) for trading deals fully secured by LCs\n\nIdentified as Letters of Credit (LC) - SME, and provides support and guidance as necessary, on review of DLC & SBLC terms & conditions\n\nProvides support in management of fully secured deals in Brady Credit Risk (BCR)\n\nReviews and processes all LC related bank charges and confirmation fees\n\nCollateral Drawings:\n\nClosely monitor due dates of all active trading deals fully secured by acceptable LCs.\n\nPrepares all necessary documents to facilitate timely & full collection of all deals covered by letter of credit\n\nAbout You\nWe know our greatest resource is the ingenuity, creativity and innovation of our people.
