A key aspect will be ensuring the operation is at peak reliability and efficiency by reviewing trends for optimal performance.\nThe successful candidate(s) will work on a multi-skilled offshore operations team, filling roles in basic producing operations on GOA deepwater facilities. Members of the offshore operations team will work on a 14 & 14 rotational schedule and will be expected to work both day shift and night shift during a 14-day rotation. The assignments could be on any Gulf of America deepwater production facility operated by Chevron.\nResponsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:\nActively support Health, Environment, and Safety processes by accomplishing daily activities within applicable regulations and policies, carrying out duties in an environmentally conscious manner, following safe operating practices, maintaining a safe working environment, and being prepared to respond to an environmental or safety event.\nPerform duties as detailed below associated with offshore oil and gas producing operations: Well testing, Record keeping, Monitoring / Operating control systems, Safety device testing, Operate, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain process and utility systems, Operate and monitor Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA)\nUtilization of SAP to create work orders for inventory and work planning/prioritization.\nPerform normal crane and/or rigging operations\nPartner with other employees, and contractors to ensure that all equipment is operating at peak efficiency.\nAssure all work performed adheres to Chevron's Operational Excellence standards and regulatory requirements.\nOther duties as assigned.\n Required Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\nMinimum of three years recent (no more than two-year absence) operations experience in the petroleum and/or chemical industry. \nAbility and willingness to work a 14 & 14 offshore rotational schedule, 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.\nFamiliarity with reliability efforts for a variety of safety, environmental and operations related issues.\nAbility to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance of operations process systems.\nAbility to perform control room operator duties.\nCapable of performing P&ID and field verifications for all Operations IHEs.\nBroad knowledge of operations process systems.\nFamiliarity with electronic instrumentation and ability to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance of end devices.\nBasic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).\nAbility to work effectively and cooperatively with a diverse team of coworkers, contractors, and internal and external customers.\nAbility to successfully complete a post-offer/pre-placement drug and alcohol screening, background check, physical, functional capacity examination.\nMust possess a valid driver's license.\n Preferred Qualifications:\nAssociate or bachelor's degree with a GPA of 2.5 or higher in Petroleum Services, Industrial Technology, Process Plant Technology, Process Operating Technology, Process Operations Technology, Process Technology, Process Production Technology or related degree, or Military with a rank of E4 or higher with Military Occupational Specialty in Mechanical Maintenance, Instrumentation, Electrical, Process Ops or related disciplines.\nMinimum of five years recent (no more than two-year absence) operations experience in the petroleum and/or chemical industry.\nUSCG licensing is considered a plus.\nExperience working at Chevron-operated GOA deepwater facility\nRelocation Options:\nRelocationwill not be considered.\nInternational Considerations:\nExpatriate assignmentswill not be considered.\nIMPORTANT NOTE:\nAs part of the application process, you will be required to take an assessment that measures aptitude and work styles.
