The role will assist with event planning, stakeholder communication, program administration, and onsite event coordination to help deliver impactful experiences and strengthen relationships with key partners and community organizations. This position is based in Houston, TX.\nResponsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:\nSupport the planning, coordination, and execution of golf and community partnership programs, including The Chevron Championship and other related initiatives.\nAssist with event logistics, scheduling, travel coordination, attendee management, and program communications.\nHelp coordinate activities with tournament organizers, nonprofit partners, vendors, agencies, and internal stakeholders.\nSupport the development and distribution of program materials, meeting agendas, presentations, and event communications.\nAssist with marketing, volunteer, hospitality, and community engagement initiatives associated with sponsored events.\nProvide onsite support at Chevron-sponsored golf and community events, helping ensure a positive experience for guests.\nConduct research on partnership opportunities, industry trends, and best practices to support program planning.\nRequired Qualifications\nStrong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.\nEffective written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work collaboratively with internal teams, external partners, vendors, and community organizations.\nDemonstrated ability to coordinate logistics and support event execution.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.\nWillingness to travel to support golf events and partner meetings.\n1-3 years of experience in event planning, sponsorships, community relations, marketing, hospitality, sports management, or a related field.\nPreferred Qualifications\nInterest in sports partnerships, golf, community engagement, marketing, or event management.\nExperience supporting corporate events, sponsorship programs, or nonprofit initiatives.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of organization and customer service.\nBachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.\nRelocation Options:\nRelocation is not offered for this role.
