This role serves as a technical leader, partnering closely with Product Owners, Architects, Engineering teams, Operations teams, and vendors to transform strategic initiatives into executable roadmaps and successful implementations.\nThe ideal candidate brings deep expertise in NetApp, Veeam, Microsoft Azure, DevOps, Automation, and AI-driven operations, while providing technical leadership, mentoring engineers, and managing critical P1 escalations across global environments.\nRequired Experience\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.\n14+ years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Cloud Hosting, Storage, Backup, and Data Protection platforms.\n10+ years of hands-on experience with NetApp Storage technologies including ONTAP, CVO, ANF, SnapMirror, SnapVault, and enterprise storage architectures.\n8+ years of experience with Veeam Backup & Replication, Enterprise Backup Platforms, Disaster Recovery, Cyber Recovery, and Data Protection solutions.\nStrong experience with Microsoft Azure including IaaS, PaaS, Azure NetApp Files, Azure Backup, Site Recovery, Entra ID, governance, and security.\nProven experience working in Agile, Scrum, and SAFe delivery models.\nExperience in engineering-led product development and platform modernization initiatives.\nKey Responsibilities\nWork closely with Product Owners and Architects to convert strategic initiatives into implementable engineering work.\nDrive modernization initiatives from ideation, design, planning, implementation, testing, deployment, and operational handover across storage, backup, and cloud platforms.\nParticipate in PI Planning, backlog refinement, roadmap discussions, and prioritization activities.\nEnsure successful execution of program deliverables while meeting quality, security, and timeline objectives.\nLead engineering teams in implementing Azure, NetApp, and Veeam solutions using best practices.\nEstablish reusable automation frameworks, IaC patterns, and engineering standards.\nDrive adoption of DevOps, GitHub, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Iac , AI to improve operational efficiency, observability, and platform reliability.\nChampion innovation and continuous improvement across Data Hosting services.\nProvide leadership during P1/P2 major incidents and critical escalations.\nDrive root cause analysis, problem management, and preventive action planning.\nEnsure platform reliability, disaster recovery readiness, and service resilience.\nSupport audit, compliance, cybersecurity, and risk remediation activities.\nMentor, coach, and groom engineers to develop technical depth and future leadership capabilities.\nPromote knowledge sharing, design thinking, and engineering best practices.\nBuild SME capability across NetApp, Veeam, Azure, Automation, and AI domains.\nTechnical Skills\nNetApp Storage & Veeam Backup Technologies\nArchitecture, solution design, implementation, migration, capacity planning, and performance optimization\nNetApp ONTAP (Clustered Mode / C-Mode)\nNetApp FAS, AFF, Azure NetApp Files (ANF), Cloud Volumes ONTAP (CVO)\nNAS and SAN technologies across enterprise environments\nNFS, SMB/CIFS, Mixed Security Style, iSCSI\nFlexCache, FlexClone, Snapshots, Quotas\nStorage lifecycle management and data governance\nPerformance tuning and troubleshooting\nSnapMirror, SnapLock, FlexClone\nNetApp Ransomware Protection and Cyber Vault concepts\nBackup, recovery, replication, and business continuity strategies\nVeeam Backup & Replication\nEnterprise backup architecture and modernization\nBackup governance, retention management, and compliance\nDisaster Recovery (DR) and Cyber Recovery solution design\nCloud & Modern Infrastructure\nMicrosoft Azure, Azure NetApp Files, Azure Storage Services\nHybrid cloud architecture and migration strategies\nCloud security, governance, and operational excellence\nInfrastructure modernization and platform transformation\nDevOps & AI\nAzure DevOps, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines\nPowerShell, Python, Terraform, Ansible\nInfrastructure as Code (IaC) and workflow automation\nAI-driven operations, observability, predictive monitoring, and intelligent remediation\nChevron ENGINE supports global operations, supporting business requirements across the world.
