This position is also responsible for ensuring the plant is maintained in a safe and clean condition.\nResponsibilities may include but are not limited to:\nPerform corrective maintenance, adjustments, and emergency repairs,\nPerform preventive maintenance, lubrication, overhaul, and upgrades of plant mechanical, rotating, and stationary equipment.\nPerform predictive maintenance work.\nWrite and update work orders and other information in the computerized maintenance management system.\nWrite Requisitions for parts and materials\nBe available for callouts.\nAssist in Turnaround and Project planning and scheduling.\nPerform failure analysis, and suggest and implement improvements.\nLearn new skills as needed to maintain the plant.\nAssist operations as needed\nOperate equipment such as fork trucks, man lifts, etc.\nAssist maintenance, engineering, and operations management as needed\nRequired Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent. **Experience may substitute education requirements.\nValid Driver's license\n3-5 years of related experience (Strong technical background), depending on education.\nAbility to use office equipment (computer, copy machine, calculator, etc.)\nManage multiple tasks simultaneously and in a timely manner to meet deadlines\nWork independently or with others as a team to complete assigned projects\nAwareness of new technical developments and ability to apply new knowledge to the processes in place.\nBe available for daily work and overtime as required\nPreferred qualifications:\nCentrifugal pump operation and maintenance\nMillwright or mechanic training\nWelding skills or Certification\nCause analysis\nCMRT (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician) or CMRP (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional)\nAbility to effectively communicate both orally and in writing to provide technical expertise as required\nDisciplined self-starter with good organizational skills\nDemonstrate attention to detail\nAbility to effectively analyze reports and communicate information to co-workers.\nWork considerations:\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
