This role will serve multiple different control engineering functions from daily run and maintain support, project support, process optimization, regulatory control configuration, APC, and control systems lifecycle maintenance/reliability.\nThis role will be central to optimizing manufacturing practices, contributing to engineering innovations, and maintaining our commitment to delivering high-quality products with efficiency and environmental consciousness. We are looking for a proactive, resourceful professional who excels in complex problem solving and cross-functional collaboration to support our mission of operational excellence and continuous improvement. This role will also be foundational support in the conversion of our DCS in Orange from Honeywell Experion to DeltaV.\nResponsibilities\nReviews technical specifications, design guides, and user manuals\nAssists in the checkout of instrument control loops in existing plants or plant expansions\nUndertakes bad actor identification and analysis to reduce equipment downtime\nCalibrates systems requiring basic electronic test equipment\nCollects data using computer maintenance management system (CMMS) or other available data sources\nPerforms maintenance service repairs on control systems hardware\nDocuments changes and provides information for as-built documentation\nCompletes administrative tasks including but not limited to time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentationAssists in developing related preventive maintenance that do not currently exist\n\nContributes to maintaining the project’s instrument database using automated tools and has knowledge of the applicability of information to be populated in the instrument database\nMaintains DCS software database\nModifies DCS configuration per plant requirements\nWorks with instrumentation and analyzer groups to troubleshoot systems issues\nMonitors control system health\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Engineering with at least 5 years of experience of relevant experience in a refinery or chemical plant\nCan read and understand design documents.
