Meeting the world’s growing energy needs requires the pursuit of innovations and advancements that deliver a better future for all.\nAbout the position\nThe Specialty Operations Infrastructure Routine Maintenance Scheduler partners with Operations, Maintenance, Planning, and Engineering teams to develop, maintain, and optimize routine maintenance schedules for Specialty Operations Infrastructure assets. This role works closely with site-based maintenance organizations, planners, reliability engineers, and ENGINE technical personnel to ensure routine maintenance activities are planned and scheduled in alignment with Chevron enterprise maintenance strategies, safety requirements, and Chevron standards. The Routine Maintenance Scheduler plays a critical role in supporting asset reliability, operational readiness, and compliance with established maintenance planning and scheduling performance metrics.\nKey responsibilities\nRoutine Maintenance Scheduling\nDevelop and maintain integrated routine maintenance schedules for Specialty Operations Infrastructure assets using Chevron standard maintenance management and scheduling systems (e.g., SAP PM, Prometheus Scheduler), ensuring alignment with ENGINE scheduling standards.\nCoordinate routine maintenance work order scheduling in alignment with approved maintenance strategies, asset criticality, and operational constraints.\nValidate work readiness (scope definition, materials, labor availability, permits, and operational windows) to ensure schedules are executable.\nMaintain schedule accuracy through ongoing updates to reflect changes in scope, priorities, or field conditions.\nCoordination and Stakeholder Engagement\nWork collaboratively with Specialty Operations Infrastructure Maintenance, Operations, and Planning Representatives to align routine maintenance schedules with operational priorities.\nInterface with ENGINE technical personnel and Reliability Engineers to ensure preventive maintenance, integrity-related tasks, and condition-based maintenance are appropriately integrated into routine schedules.\nSupport effective communication of weekly and daily schedules to execution teams to improve schedule adherence and field execution efficiency.\nMaintenance Systems and Data Management\nMaintain routine maintenance schedules within Chevron enterprise systems (e.g., SAP PM, Prometheus) in accordance with established data quality and governance standards.\nEnsure maintenance activities are correctly sequenced, resourced, and linked to approved work orders.\nTrack and support key scheduling and maintenance performance metrics, such as Schedul\nCompliance, Schedule Attainment, and Work Order Readiness\nPerformance Metrics and Continuous Improvement\nSupport achievement of key ENGINE and Specialty Operations Infrastructure metrics, high schedule compliance and minimal schedule break-ins.\nIdentify opportunities to improve routine maintenance scheduling effectiveness, reduce reactive work, and enhance long-term maintenance predictability.\nParticipate in continuous improvement including initiatives related to maintenance planning, scheduling standardization, and work management maturity.\nCompliance and Standards\nEnsure routine maintenance scheduling activities comply with Chevron maintenance work management standards, ENGINE governance expectations, and applicable safety and regulatory requirements.\nSupport standardized scheduling practices across Specialty Operations Infrastructure assets to promote consistency and reliability.\nEnsure all required Chevron training, including maintenance systems, scheduling processes, and safety training, is completed and maintained up to date.\nSupport adoption and consistent use of Chevron standard maintenance scheduling practices within Specialty Operations Infrastructure teams.\nRequired Qualifications\nEngineering Degree in Mechanical or any related technical discipline.\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance scheduling, maintenance planning, or maintenance operations within an industrial or infrastructure environment.\nExperience in reviewing maintenance plans across different geographic areas and optimizing those plans for overall contracting efficiency. \nWorking knowledge of Chevron enterprise maintenance work management and scheduling concepts.\nStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using enterprise maintenance management systems (e.g., SAP PM) and scheduling tools (e.g., Prometheus Scheduler).\nExperience supporting maintenance activities in operating environments such as energy infrastructure, industrial processing facilities, or similar asset-intensive operations.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting Specialty Operations Infrastructure or similar centralized support organizations.\nFamiliarity with Chevron maintenance performance metrics, including Schedule Compliance, Schedule Attainment, and Work Order Ready Backlog.\nProven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Reliability stakeholders.\nChevron ENGINE supports global operations, supporting business requirements across the world. Accordingly, the work hours for employees will be aligned to support business requirements. The standard work week will be Monday to Friday.
