Working across SCM, Operations, Finance, Legal, Planning, HSE, Internal Controls, and Joint Venture teams, the Advisor helps develop and execute contracting, procurement, supplier, and supply chain strategies that deliver business value.\nThis role is ideal for an experienced SCM professional who combines commercial acumen, analytical thinking, digital capabilities, and strong collaboration skills. The Advisor will help drive cost competitiveness, reliable supply, effective governance, continuous improvement, and digital transformation across SCM. A core part of the role is leading AI implementation, preferably Microsoft Copilot, to enable solutions, take on tactical work, and simplify processes across the function.\nKey Responsibilities\nStrategy & Business Partnership\nAdvise SCM and business leaders on supply chain, contracting, procurement, and commercial strategies.\nProvide market intelligence, analytics, and commercial insights to support business decisions.\nPartner across functions and Joint Ventures to align SCM strategies with operational and business priorities.\nRepresent SCM in cross-functional initiatives and leadership discussions.\nPlanning & Performance\nLead the development and execution of the Annual Contracting & Procurement Plan (ACPP).\nMonitor spend, supplier performance, contract execution, business risks, and SCM performance.\nDevelop KPIs, dashboards, and insights to support data-driven decision-making.\nCoordinate the annual SCM budget and monitor performance against plan.\nContracting & Commercial Excellence\nDevelop and advise on sourcing and contracting strategies, supplier performance, and commercial negotiations.\nServe as a Subject Matter Expert on contracting processes and applicable company standards.\nSupport contract management, renewals, change orders, supplier strategies, and commercial risk mitigation.\nIdentify opportunities to improve cost and value through market intelligence, benchmarking, analytics, and total-cost considerations.\nGovernance, Risk & Compliance\nEnsure SCM activities comply with company policies, contracting standards, internal controls, and governance requirements.\nGuide SCM team members on processes, controls, and compliance.\nSupport governance reviews, audits, supplier due diligence, risk management, and commercial assurance.\nPartner with Legal, Finance, Internal Controls, HSE, Planning, and other functions to resolve SCM and business issues.\nAI Implementation, Digital Transformation & Continuous Improvement\nLead AI implementation across SCM, preferably with Microsoft Copilot, to enable solutions, take on tactical work, and simplify processes.\nLead process simplification, standardization, automation, and digital improvement initiatives, using AI and Copilot to reduce manual and tactical effort.\nLeverage AI-enabled solutions, with Copilot as the preferred platform, to improve productivity and decision-making; enable Power BI, ERP systems, PowerApps, and analytics.\nIdentify opportunities to automate workflows, improve data quality, and strengthen reporting and controls.\nPromote adoption of new technologies and SCM best practices.\nCollaboration & Capability Development\nBuild strong relationships across SCM, Operations, Joint Ventures, and supporting functions.\nCommunicate complex commercial and supply chain matters effectively, including with leadership.\nSupport training, knowledge sharing, onboarding, and SCM capability development.\nLead projects and initiatives through collaboration and influence.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.\nMinimum 6 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain Management, procurement, contracting, business analytics, or related functions.\nExperience developing sourcing and contracting strategies and supporting or leading commercial negotiations.\nStrong knowledge of procurement, contract management, supplier performance, governance, and supply chain processes.\nStrong analytical and commercial skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI; demonstrated expertise implementing and applying Copilot and other AI tools to enable solutions, take on tactical work, and simplify processes; familiarity with ERP and procurement platforms.\nStrong communication and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and build alignment.\nAbility to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a dynamic business environment.\nProfessional proficiency in English and Spanish.\nPreferred Qualifications\nSupply chain or procurement certification, such as APICS or ISM.\nExperience leading AI implementation, preferably Copilot, along with PowerApps, automation, or Python.\nExperience leading cross-functional projects or improvement initiatives.\nWhat Will Help You Succeed\n\nThe successful candidate will bring a combination of SCM expertise, commercial judgment, analytical capability, curiosity, and collaborative leadership.
