Meeting the world’s growing energy needs requires the pursuit of innovations and advancements that deliver a better future for all.\nAbout the position:\nSenior Network Engineer will lead the design, involved in implementation, and support of secure Process Control Network (PCN) environments, with a strong focus on firewall technologies, network segmentation, and site network design. The role requires hands-on expertise in Palo Alto firewalls, AlgoSec, ServiceNow, and Agile delivery, supporting global industrial network deployments and operations.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and implement PCN network infrastructure (firewalls, routing, switching) \nLead firewall architecture, policy management, and segmentation (Purdue model) \nManage firewall lifecycle using AlgoSec for policy analysis, compliance, and automation \nDevelop technical designs, implementation plans, and test strategies \nProvide Tier-3 support for complex incidents and coordinate with vendors \nExecute changes through ServiceNow (incident & change management) \nCollaborate with global teams to implement solutions and resolve escalations \nDrive automation, process improvement, and Agile delivery practices \nSupport BCP/DR activities and network resiliency initiatives \nDevelops and implements solutions and processes to maintain the reliability, effectiveness, and efficiency of network security infrastructure components across the enterprise and associated process control environments. \nWorks with project managers, team members, architects, business units and other stakeholders to create agile solutions, identifying continuous improvement opportunities, creating new or improved processes and automation to support step changes in operational efficiencies. \nAnalyses network security needs and designs solutions that meet business requirements for protection, standardization, efficiency, scalability, supportability, and cost-effectiveness. Contributes to lifecycle activities. \nFollows standard change management processes and practices when introducing technical changes to the environment. \nMust-Have Skills\nStrong hands-on experience in Palo Alto firewalls (mandatory) \nExpertise in firewall policy design, security segmentation \nExperience with AlgoSec (policy analysis & automation) \nExperience with ServiceNow (incident/change management) \nStrong knowledge of routing & switching (BGP, OSPF, VRF, VLANs) \nExperience in industrial / PCN / OT network environments \nGood-to-Have Skills\nKnowledge of Purdue model / OT segmentation \nExperience with Agile/Scrum delivery \nExposure to network automation (Python/APIs) \nExperience with centralized firewall management (e.g., Panorama) \nQualifications\nBachelor’s/Master’s degree in IT / Computer Science or related field \nCertifications: CCNP, Palo Alto (PCNSE preferred) \nChevron ENGINE supports global operations, supporting business requirements across the world. Accordingly, the work hours for employees will be aligned to support business requirements. The standard work week will be Monday to Friday.
