This role will be based in 6750 Building, Makati City, Philippines.\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:\nPrepare and review statutory financial statements in accordance with IFRS, US GAAP, or local standards.\nCoordinate end-to-end statutory audit processes, including planning, execution, and closure of audit issues.\nLiaise with external auditors, controlling teams, and service providers to ensure timely and efficient audit engagements.\nAssess internal controls and recommend improvements to strengthen financial reporting processes.\nAnalyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support business decisions.\nMonitor external audit testing status and update action plans as necessary.\nEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in audit standards.\nPrepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management and stakeholders.\nSupport initiatives to improve financial statement preparation and implement process enhancements.\nCoordination and preparation of MPA's information requests/ liaison with PWC, SG Tax and GBS Manila\nAbout You\nKnowledge, Skills, and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\nCertified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification preferred.\nMinimum of 3 years’ experience in external or statutory audit, ideally with exposure to Big 4 audit firms.\nStrong technical expertise in IFRS, US GAAP, and statutory compliance.\nExperience in managing audit engagements and preparing statutory financial statements.\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nProficiency in financial reporting tools (e.g., SAP) is an advantage.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.\nSkills\nAuditing and financial analysis\nInternal controls assessment\nRisk identification and mitigation\nReport writing and presentation\nTeam collaboration and stakeholder management\nExcel and data analysis\nAttention to detail and accuracy\nEverything we do at Chevron is guided by our values and our commitment to The Chevron Way (https://www.chevron.com/about/the-chevron-way).
