This role will lead complex, high-impact work, serve as a strategic partner to HR and business leadership, and translate business and workforce needs into forward-looking and scalable talent strategies from design through implementation and measurement.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nHelp shape the enterprise Talent Management strategy and multi-year priorities\n\nLead highly complex, ambiguous, or cross-functional initiatives that require conceptual thinking, evaluation of interdependencies and tradeoffs, and alignment across multiple stakeholder groups\n\nDesign, pilot, implement, and scale new talent practices that connect voice of customer, industry trends, and business needs to improve how Chewy assesses, develops, deploys, and retains talent\n\nIntegrate AI, automation, and emerging technologies into strategic design to improve decision-making and insights, and enable more scalable, data-driven talent practices\n\nOwn the strategy and roadmap for assigned talent priorities, translating broad objectives into clear plans, decisions, milestones, and measurable outcomes\n\nBuild commitment to new or enhanced talent practices through effective communication and stakeholder engagement, influence at senior levels, and effective change leadership\n\nEstablish measures of success, assess the effectiveness and business value of talent practices, and use data and stakeholder feedback to continuously improve them\n\nIdentify patterns and emerging needs across the organization and translate them into enterprise-level insights, recommendations, or future priorities\n\nWhat You’ll Need:\n10+ years of experience in Talent Management or related enterprise roles\n\nBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field (Master's preferred)\n\nAbility to operate independently on strategic, complex, and high-priority talent work in a fast-paced, evolving environment\n\nStrong strategic and critical-thinking skills, including the ability to structure ambiguous problems, evaluate intangible factors, and anticipate broader implications\n\nBusiness acumen and the ability to understand and translate specific organizational needs into outcomes\n\nExperience advising and influencing senior HR and business leaders\n\nExperience using written narratives such as white papers or memos to communicate recommendations and support decisions is preferred\n\nThe base salary range for this role is $149,000 - $245,000.00.The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.
