This role provides broad HR support across our Corporate, Chewy Vet Care, and Customer Care organizations. You will resolve specialized Team Member requests referred through HR Shared Services or HR Business Partners, advise leaders on day-to-day people matters, and use sound judgment to navigate moderately complex situations. The ideal candidate is a versatile, proactive HR professional who builds trust through accurate, timely support and continuously looks for ways to improve how HR serves the organization.\nWhat You'll Do\nHR Consultation & Team Member Support\nProvide responsive, consistent HR guidance to Team Members and leaders across supported Corporate, Chewy Vet Care, and Customer Care organizations.\n\nInterpret HR policies, practices, and employment standards and apply them effectively to routine and moderately complex situations.\n\nAssess Team Member concerns, gather relevant facts, identify risk, and determine appropriate next steps, or escalation.\n\nBuild trusted partnerships with leaders by providing practical guidance on day-to-day Team Member matters, conflict resolution, and people management practices.\n\nSupport leave and accommodation, relocation, immigration, contingent workforce, licensing, and other specialized HR processes in partnership with the appropriate teams.\n\nTeam Member Relations & Performance Management\nConduct structured intake conversations and workplace fact-finding; document information objectively and develop well-reasoned findings and recommendations.\n\nAdvise leaders on performance concerns, policy violations, disciplinary actions, while balancing policy, precedent, business context, and risk.\n\nCoach leaders to address performance and workplace concerns.\n\nWorkforce Insights, Talent & Engagement\nAnalyze Team Member data, feedback, and operational trends to identify patterns, workforce implications, and opportunities for proactive support.\n\nSupport talent and performance processes, including administrative support, facilitation of discussions, documentation and follow up with people leaders.\n\nDevelop and facilitate listening sessions and other engagement activities; synthesize themes and support practical action planning.\n\nMaintain accurate people reports and translate relevant trends into clear, actionable insights for HR partners and leaders.\n\nHR Operations & Continuous Improvement\nMaintain data integrity across HR systems and ensure case records, repositories, job aids, and standard operating procedures are current and accurate.\n\nManage a high-volume workload with strong prioritization, responsiveness, attention to detail, and follow-through.\n\nIdentify root causes and improvement opportunities using data, stakeholder feedback, and operational observations.\n\nDevelop practical, scalable solutions that improve consistency, efficiency, and the Team Member experience, and communicate recommendations clearly to stakeholders.\n\nCoordinate or facilitate training on HR policies, processes, and tools.\n\nWhat You'll Need\nBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\n\n3+ years of progressive core human resources experience.\n\nExperience supporting Team Member relations, performance management, policy interpretation, and core HR processes.\n\nStrong problem-solving, critical-thinking, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.\n\nAbility to interpret workforce data, identify meaningful trends, and translate insights into clear recommendations.\n\nStrong ownership, prioritization, attention to detail, and comfort operating in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity and change.\n\nAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive personal and business information.\n\nPosition may require occasional travel.\n\nChewy is an equal opportunity employer.
