In this role, you will lead and support a team of Learning And Forklift Coordinators who support and train the onsite Operations team in job processes and PIT training. An effective LOM partners closely with the site Operations team to identify potential risk to trained headcount and develops plan for the team to execute training that bridges the gap, while maintaining a training budget. Our Learning teams support on-the-job training with a team of operations trainers who volunteer to train newly hired, peers; our Learning leaders spend time working with operations to identify future trainers and recruit them to participate in the program. Our Learning Operations Managers build and maintain effective partnerships with site Operations, but also with HR, Safety, and Recruiting.\nWhat you'll need:\nBA, BS or equivalent experience \n2-4+ years guiding a team within a training/learning, operations or similar function\nUnderstanding of fulfillment/distribution center/warehouse processes and flow \nWell-developed observational and analytical skills \nEffective verbal and written communications skills \nAble to work flexible schedules / shifts as needed for 7 day operation \nValidated skills for planning daily/weekly tasks and adapting to contending demands \nStrong skills developing relationships across all levels and functions \nTravel Detail oriented and accurate with the ability to focus attention on details \nAbility to prioritize, lead and complete projects with tight deadlines \nFamiliarity with process improvement methodologies such as LEAN or Six Sigma \nChewy is an equal opportunity employer.
