The role develops project management capabilities while gaining hands-on experience in construction, launch execution, and operational readiness.\nIn addition to project execution support, the Project Manager contributes to process standardization, documentation, continuous improvement, and lessons learned to improve future project delivery.\nTravel is required and may range up to 60-80% based on project needs.\nKey Responsibilities\nProject Planning:\nSupport development and maintenance of project timelines and milestones for cross-functional teams.\nAssist with project scope, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and project documentation.\nSupport bid package preparation, vendor coordination, contract administration, and change tracking.\nTrack project risks, issues, action items, and mitigation plans.\nAssist with commissioning plans, readiness checklists, and operational handoff documentation.\nProject Execution:\nCoordinate day-to-day project activities to support on-time and on-budget delivery.\nMonitor project progress and escalate risks, delays, or issues to Project Managers.\nCoordinate communication between operations, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.\nTrack contractor deliverables, quality standards, and safety requirements.\nSupport commissioning, vendor turnover, and launch activities.\nLaunch Excellence & Continuous Improvement:\nSupport operational readiness and quality verification activities before launch.\nMaintain launch documentation, standard work, and project records.\nParticipate in post-launch reviews and lessons learned sessions.\nIdentify improvement opportunities and support implementation of best practices.\nAssist with gap analysis between current operations and future-state processes.\nQualifications\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.\nCAPM certification preferred; PMP eligibility or pursuit is a plus.\nExperience:\n1-3 years of project coordination, project management, construction, operations, engineering, or related experience.\nExperience supporting cross-functional projects in warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or other fast-paced environments preferred.\n Skills:\nStrong organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; Microsoft Project experience preferred.\nBasic understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.\nAbility to interpret business requirements and support process improvement initiatives.\nStrong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and external vendors.\nKnowledge of warehouse operations, construction, or material handling systems preferred.\nThe hourly range for this role is $37.74 - $60.33.\nWe offer the following benefits for our team members:20% Chewy.com Discount\nMedical, Dental, Vision, FSA and HSA (eligibility on the 1st of the month following date of hire)\nLife and Disability Insurance\n401(k) with company matching\nWellness benefits through Wellbeing @Chewy\nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)\nPaid Time Off: Team members are eligible to accrue up to 80 hours of PTO their first year\nSubsidized child, adult, and pet backup care through Care.com\nDiscounts on many items through the LifeMart Discount platform\nThe option to sign up for Payactiv’s Earned Wage Access program and access a portion of the money you’ve already earned, before your regular payday!\nHigh volume and specialty positions are eligible for wage increases starting after 3-months of service\nReferral Bonuses - $500 per referral\n\nWe offer different types of insurance, such as medical/Rx, vision, dental, life, disability, hospital indemnity, critical illness, and accident.
